What you can expect

  • Departure from the starting point in Santiago de Veraguas, passing through the district of San Francisco to Calobre.
    You will learn about the creation of the protected area and some of the environmental characteristics that it offers, all with a tour guide explaining any questions regarding the place of the visit.
    In the forest reserve you will visit two waterfalls near the protected area, as well as being able to spend a day, take pictures of the landscapes (lake) and bathe in the waters of the San Juan River.
    Additionally you could camp or have a picnic day in the place.
