Getting Too Old For Deer Camp

Getting too old to stay in a dry cabin with cots for deer camp. We were only 5 miles from our hunting property so this house made a perfect location as a base camp. Highlight of the weekend was watching a bald eagle while having our morning coffee. Everything was perfect and the only regret was we were too tired and busy to pull out a fly rod to try our luck on the White River for a brown or brook trout. Highly recommended for anytime of the year.

Beautiful View!

As soon as you open the door you see this huge window and just water! The property is situated on the river bend so that when you look out the window it's like you're floating on the water! The property is beautiful and peaceful. The home is very clean and nicely decorated. It was a girlfriend trip and we have a very nice relaxing weekend strengthening our girlfriend bond! Will be back!

A great place to stay

This is a cute home with a gorgeous view of the River. We enjoyed our stay and making memories with our family. It was cozy, yet everyone had their own space. My favorite time was sitting on the covered porch or at the table playing games. The home was clean when we arrived and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with most anything you’d need for cooking and baking. Everything we needed for cooking was available except the food! Downstairs has a nice room for watching tv or just relaxing. Also a nice daybed down there. Accuracy of listing gets four stars only because it lists 0 bathrooms. There are in fact two nice bathrooms. Our family really a great time on this trip, knowing we’d come back each day to this beautiful home. Thank you very much for having us. We hope to return, and would definitely recommend to anyone we would want to have a great place to stay.

Tranquility on the river

Beautiful, cozy cottage on the river

We LOVED our stay at the cottage. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the view was amazing. My girlfriend and I had a one-day business retreat and this was the perfect location where we could get work done and relax afterwards. The rooms were clean, tastefully decorated and we especially loved the deck overlooking the water. Thanks for making our retreat so memorable!
