Welcome to this East Vail private home with spectacular views of Gore Creek and the Gore Range Mountains. This is the downstairs part of an up-down gold-rated duplex. This bottom duplex has 2,000 square feet on two levels, and is located in East Vail directly on the Gore Creek and just six and a half miles from Vail Village. You can also walk 1/4 mile to the free bus stop. It has a lovely open living, kitchen and dining area with a wood-burning fireplace in the sitting room. There is also a separate sun/TV room on the main level with expansive glass windows that showcase the serenity of the creek and mountains, along with a large TV and entertainment center. Off the living area is a private deck with a table and grill that enjoy the peaceful creek and mountain setting. The downstairs patio has a sitting area to enjoy the creek and summer wildflowers. The home has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms and will accommodate up to eight people. - Primary bedroom on main level has a queen bed, TV, and full en-suite bathroom. - Second bedroom on lower level has queen bed and TV. - Third bedroom on lower level has two twin beds and TV. - The lower level bedrooms share a full bathroom. - The living room has a sleeper sofa.

Lovely home
First off, I'd like to mention that the property was listed as having a hot tub. The hot tub was a specific feature I was looking for in the property we rented. When we arrived- no hot tub. Very disappointing. However, the house was lovely and suited our needs. We used the fireplace daily, cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, and used the laundry room to wash our cold, wet, snow-filled clothes. The beds were comfortable and the windows afforded gorgeous views.

Great Location; Unit needs work
We stayed at this property for 4 nights at the end of July.
The location of the property is stellar and the views from through the windows in the sun room and from the back deck are fantastic.
The unit itself is somewhat rough and needs work. We are aware this is a new acquisition for Vail Management Company (landlord) and many of the shortcomings could be addressed for what looks like a relatively small investment:
- Some doors don't function properly, including exterior doors.
- Some window treatments don't fit the windows (too small)
- Pictures in the listing appear photoshopped to increase brightness. The basement bedrooms in particular are kind of dingy. The lower level definitely has as basement vibe.
- There was a really big temperature differential (20+ degrees during our stay) between the upper level and the basement bedrooms.
- The unit smelled musty as if the windows hadn't been opened in a really long time. We called Vail Management Company to try to get advice/assistance on getting the furnace fan to operate so we could circulate air and they literally hung up on us (twice).
- They instead dropped off box fans which were not what we were looking for.
- Master bath fan doesn't work
- etc.
We will definitely be back to the Vail area again but won't consider this unit or anything else owned by this management company.
