This house was beautiful! We loved the collapsible doors to the back yard! The fire pit was a gas pit and easy to start. The bedrooms were large with their own bathroom with plenty of room. The view from the back patio was beautiful. We loved listening to the Aspens with the fall colors. We did get to see a bobcat and the deer. We will definitely see you again.

Gorgeous home to relax in

We enjoyed this home so much! Plenty of space for 8 people at the dining room table, living room and arrangement of bed options. We purchased snow chains for our tires because the road to the house was icy and steep. But this was not a problem with chains still on to drive the short distance to the grocery store and ski resort. Kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need to make meals. Would stay here again!

An amazing week

The property is just beautiful! There were 10 of us ranging from 3 yrs to 67. Everyone had their own space. The kitchen has anything you’ll need. The grocery store is close by along with a great golf course, playground, etc.

Father’s Day weekend get together

We loved the location. The outdoor area and house were perfect for our family of 11. We saw some elk and deer. We would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would change would be to add some black out shades in the two bedrooms facing east. The sun shines bright in those rooms early in the morning.

ALPENGLOW delivers!

If you are looking for a world-class accommodation in Northern New Mexico - look no further. Beautiful, clean, spacious and no amenity left out. I can't say enough positive about Alpenglow. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property

The house is beautiful and the view is amazing. We saw deer right out of the living and dining rooms every day. There were a few issues that we mentioned to the property owners. It was ok with us and didn’t hinder our stay too much but we were more concerned with those issues getting fixed before the next guests arrived. No one ever responded to us so I hope they get fixed.

Yet another great stay!

My wife and I have stayed at this home a few times now during our trips to Angel Fire and it’s the best place we’ve stayed in and around Angel Fire. Angle Fire Resort Properties are fantastic to deal with when reserving, checking in and checking out. You can’t go wrong with staying in this beautiful home.

Meadow and Mountain

As we settled into the living area of this beautiful new home we were treated to the frolicking escapades of a small herd of mule dear just outside the windows. The young ones jumped, spun and played tag a provided quite the show! Every morning we enjoyed the enormous windows which provided a view over the meadows toward the mountains which was nothing short of spectacular and the sunrises were stunning! The home is quite new and extremely comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and lots of space. Cooking with the family together was very convenient and the appliances were great. The beds and bed linens were very comfortable as was the radiant heat on the floors and the spacious master shower and soaking tub. The drive up and down the mountain was a bit longer than desired but the destination is certainly worth it. It was also convenient to be able to travel to Red River or Taos for meals or shopping in a relatively short excursion and more bike trails there for those who ride. We will most certainly choose this home again when we return to Angel Fire!

Absolutely Beautiful Home and Location

My wife and I rented this home to use as a home base for a week in Angel Fire while we finalized the purchase of land very near by this home. The location can't be beat with the meadow behind the home where we saw countless deer and other wild animals. The highlight of our trip was the herd of Elk that arrived in the meadow around sundown one night and bedded down for the night before moving on late the next morning. There had to be 30+ Elk with the largest being a mature Bull. Very cool experience. We can't say it enough, the house and location and fantastic, you can't go wrong staying here.

Gorgeous property with tons of space!

Our family (6 adults and one 4 year old) had an amazing time in this house. The house is perfect for multiple couples and kids. Every bedroom has en-suite bathroom and all are spacious with king beds in three of the four bedrooms. A member of our family uses a wheelchair and was able to get around the property safely with minimal assistance in restrooms. The prize of this home is the living space that opens onto a huge back patio with phenomenal views and no other properties backing up to it. We saw wild turkeys, mule deer, and elk, all right in our backyard. We were so comfortable in the house that we spent most of our time there. The kitchen is well appointed with utensils, dishes, and pots and pans. Recommend bringing extra trash bags, bring your own laundry pods, dishwasher pods, etc. There is a mud room/laundry room with a half bath and lots of storage. The two car garage is available for storage or vehicles. We went in the summer, but the roads up to the home are fairly steep so note the recommendations from the property manager about driving conditions and requirements. Angel Fire has a great grocery store, some great restaurants, and beautiful scenery. The home is about 45 minutes from Taos, the drive is beautiful. The golf course is great and inexpensive compared to other mountain town country club prices. We would stay in this home over and over again. Highly recommend for a great trip!

Family Summer Trip

AMAZING property! It is stocked VERY well. Furniture is all very comfortable. Super clean. Our family of 11 (age 1-age 65) stayed here and went to Taos for white water rafting, went to angel fire for mountain biking, horse back riding, fishing, hiking. It’s not a long drive to town at all, but you feel remote. Beautiful house. Property manager was VERY responsive and very easy to deal with. Check in and check out were super easy.

Great Spring Break Winter Getaway

We had a great time staying at Alpenglow. It is a very new property and had all kitchen appliances for our stay. There were 6 adults, 4 teens and 2 infants in our party and everyone was comfortable. The house was clean upon arrival, open space and had instructions for all appliances. The bedrooms all had King beds, except the kids room upstairs which the teens all comfortably stayed in their own beds. There’s an Xbox too! The other upstairs bedroom was lacking a curtain for those morning the sunrises. It was very bright and was tough to be comfortable and sleep in. Each bedroom had their own bathroom and their own thermostat to control the heater. We cooked all of the nights we were there and had all the items we needed. There was a blender, coffee maker, crockpot, pots/pans and baking items. There are some things I wish the online listing would have listed prior to arriving, like: the trash process (no trash can onsite), Updated pictures of what the bedrooms look like currently, the garage access info, and a more specific list of appliances. For those families that travel in and want to be prepared, I think an updated listing and photos would help your trip. The property management company sent a lot of info upon booking and helped us plan activities. The check-in/out process was easy and simple. Make sure if you are going during wintertime that your cars are 4WD, AWD or have chains on tires. The house is a drive up on some windy roads. The grocery store nearby had all the items we needed and the ski area and country club where all the little kid activities are were close and was about 10 min away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book this property again!

Family ski trip

The property is a new build and a beautiful home. The home is perfect for a vacation getaway. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking for a large group. Great views on the eastern side. Lots of early morning natural light. The property is a 10-15 minute drive from the resort depending on driving conditions. Check-in and checkout was very easy and very fast. Pickup from a Dropbox and dropping keys in a Dropbox upon checkout. The management company was timely in communication. Great experience. Luxury home. Would definitely rent again.
