Mr. Frederick’s is a cosy cottage in the seaside town of Stieglitz. It sits within a natural adventure playground and is where our little family come to explore, unwind and reconnect.
Our days here are full. Full with mountain biking, surfing, fishing and dunes. Full with beach combing, snorkelling and rock hopping. Full with good books and good food. We share laughs and wines in the sun on the deck and hot chocolate by the fire. It is a chance to thrill and then stop and soak it all up.
The space
Inside Mr Fredrick’s you will find a peaceful, humble retreat. The two queen size bedrooms and bunk room are laid with beautiful flax linen bedding and decorated with unique pieces - old and new. There is a full kitchen, a cosy wood fire and electric heating. There are huge fluffy warm towels and laundry facilities in the bathroom. Books, games and Netflix in the lounge. Enjoy a BBQ or your morning coffee on the covered deck. For mountain biking enthusiasts, there is a lockable bike shed and workshop and outside there is room for backyard cricket, parking cars, a boat or a caravan. The garden is fully fenced and safe for the times you bring your little people.

Mr Frederick’s is cosy enough for a romantic getaway but large enough for a family of six.
We provide some basics such as tea, freshly ground coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper and it’s only short trip to St Helens for supplies. You will find two well stocked IGAs (Bay of Fires IGA in particular) and a providore for something a little more gourmet.
