Soaring ceilings and the coziness of wood instantly greet you as you enter A BEARY TAIL. Offering two master suites with king beds and whirlpool tubs, after a day of adventures you can return to a relaxing retreat. And for the kids, there's a twin over queen bunk bed in the game room loft. Kids never seem to lose much energy but the game room has plenty of options to keep them entertained: a pool table, classic video games, board games and smart TV. PacMan, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders and more will keep all ages entertained.

Excellent and peaceful stay!

We had a wonderful time. The accommodations were very nice and clean. The adults enjoyed the peace of the rocking chairs on the porch and the kids loved the pool table and game machine. We will definitely be back!

Great experience

The cabin was close to activities but far enough away that we were able to relax in quiet. The hot tub and tv on the deck were a hit with the whole family. The host was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. This was an amazing get away for our family.

Nice getaway in the mountains

We had a great time! Thank you Jennifer M. Our host for communicating anytime I needed her. She guided me through everything with a breeze. We loved the cabin we chose and would stay there again. We were not far away from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. If we weren’t out around town we had fun there at the cabin with pool table and arcade games. Took me back 30 years It is a great place to stay. Perfect fall break stay!

This house was perfect for our family of four to stay for a long weekend on fall break. We really enjoyed that the house was tucked away and in a gated community. We have stayed in other nearby cabins that seemed very cookie-cutter and were close to neighbors which took away from the mountain feel. The proximity to Dollywood was great as it took us about 20 minutes to get to the park. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, bedding, and fun for the kids. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back next year!

Pros and Cons

Cabin was beautiful! Plenty of room for everyone in the family. About 15-20 minutes from all the fun and great places to eat. Jet tub in room had slime build up in the jets when we turned it on, like it has not been used in awhile. And we could not get it to clear completely. Air conditioner quit working our last full day so we ended up getting a hotel room so the kids could have ac.

Wonderful - for the most part

The cabin is beautiful and comfortable. A few small items need attention - the hot tub jets are very weak; the bedroom/bathroom locks are not sufficient; the arcade machine needs some attention. The ease of booking, checkin/checkout, communication is FANTASTIC! We thoroughly enjoyed our time!

Perfect location and beautiful cabin

We LOVED this property and are already talking about staying here again next year! The cabin was clean and spacious, and it was perfectly located close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved that it wasn’t super close to the other cabins. It felt secluded but still close enough to people that we still felt safe. And loved that it was in a gated area. The host was wonderful! Great communication! We arrived to the area earlier than expected and they let us check in right away. They even left my daughter a birthday basket with balloons for her 10th birthday! Which she was so thrilled about! Everything went so smoothly and my kids enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. My husband and I enjoyed playing the old games on the arcade machine. Wonderful vacation that went by way too fast!!

Great family cabin

We loved the layout location, size, and layout of the cabin. It had everything we needed and the owners were great to work with. We like staying away from the busy areas, so this was just far enough away from the busy but close enough to everything that we could come and go as we wanted.

Location and communication with property manager were excellent. There was a dog smell issue that was taken care of with a filter change, however living room furniture did still smell a bit like a dog. A few, rather inexpensive upgrades would make it much more pleasant, including new shower heads and new mattresses.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Just an absolutely amazing vacation at A Beary Tale! The whole process was easy! Jenn did a great job at communicating from before the trip started until the moment we left. The property is absolutely gorgeous. It’s situated almost right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. You won’t regret renting this adorable cabin. Our stay even had a surprise visit from a mother and her two bear cubs.
