House was huge and accommodates a large amount of people. That’s the best I can say about it. However, the layout of bedrooms is awkward at best and the mattresses were not comfortable at all. The staircases leading to the upper level were built by someone who clearly didn’t understand the concept of rise over run which made for unsafe steps especially at night. The cabin was dirty with cobwebs showing even the basic level of dusting/sweeping had not been considered. Strong smell of moth balls, leaking water tank in the kitchen, leaking pipes in the bathrooms with aluminum trays to catch water in both cases (one which overflowed while we were staying). The outdoor area was mowed before we arrived but clearly hadn’t been tended to for weeks before our arrival as evident by the foot of mowed of grass clippings laying atop the lawn and “driveway” area. The for sale sign out front tells me the current owner doesn’t care or want this place anymore. Well that makes two of us and it should make you go stay someplace else too. Avoid at all costs!

Seneca cabin
The cabin was ok very rustic. Could of had more comfortable beds to sleep in. The kitchen was good and equipped well.
This property is full of character. Everything we needed was available for cooking, showering, bonfire....We had room to spread out and have some privacy. The location was great for Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, Dolly Sods, Blackwater Falls and two caverns. We had a blast!

Easter at Seneca
We had a relaxing trip. When we arrived Crystal had hid 72 eggs all around the property. The kids, even the teenagers, loved it after travelling in the car. The cabin is so neat and vintage. We made Lego flowers, clay creations, enjoyed porch sitting and Yokums hot dogs are the very best! We had a wonderful Easter dinner in the kitchen. The day after Easter we toured Smokehole Caverns. We made memories that we will never forget.

Eclectic Cabin with Plenty of Charm
The cabin is definitely pieced together in a somewhat DIY way, but there are so many interesting items scattered throughout that you almost find the strange construction a bit charming. A group of friends all came here to celebrate my 30th birthday, and it was an overall great experience. The house was plenty large to accommodate us all, and the hot tub was a treat on a chilly winter night. Be warned that the walls are quite thin and most of the second floor rooms have vent holes that lead directly into the rooms below so you will never have a truly private conversation in the house. Crystal was a great host and left plenty of small amenities and treats for us that we felt very cared for. We would definitely return again!

Christmas get away
Was a very nice place and decorated beautifully for Christmas. We loved the fireplace. We feel it would be better if there were bathrooms upstairs where the bedrooms are. Stairs were pretty steep. We enjoyed our stay.
