This is a solid, no-frills beach house in a fantastic location. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay kitchen was well stocked, the ice maker worked, and the beds were about what you'd expect from a standard hotel. The couch looked like something out of my daughter’s college apartment, but it did the job and my mother-in-law slept fine on it!Communication with the host was easy, and we had no issues during our stay. The garage fits a Toyota Camry just barely so keep that in mind if you're driving anything larger. There is overnight parking close by.The only suggestion would be to have a few more shower towels on hand. Other than that, no complaints. The price and location really speak for themselves.

Had fun but house can use some work

Mission beach is awesome and the walk to the beach was not bad given you have to cross the Main Street to get there. House can use some TLC.-guest bathroom sink had little to no water pressure-main room tv is outdated only had antenna and no streaming apps besides prime-stove microwave did not work and had not vent fan to use during cooking-garage is not connected to home you have to walk to the back alley to get there-bedroom bathroom had small leak of water by toilet -tv in room near living room had a line running through the middle of screen showing damageAlso beware the street house is on has a lot of traffic that goes through it because of its entrance to the Bay Area and boat club. Overall family had fun here besides the things mentioned.

Family trip

We had 7 people with us and we had plenty of room. Really close to the beach. Parking was a little issue. 1 car garage is tight but my Venza fit. 2nd car had to park down a little ways. I would definitely stay here again.

House was conveniently located close to the ocean and bay. Parking garage was impossible to get into but there’s a parking lot a block away so that made up for it. Outdoor patio was great way to hangout, grill, have a glass of wine and make smores. Manager was responsive. Would stay here again

Anniversary weekend

The location was fantastic, short walk to both the Bay and the ocean. The house was cute and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the front patio and fire pit each night. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location!

Its a great location between the ocean and the bay! I would have liked to check in a little earlier (couldn't check in until 4:00 pm) and out a little later, (had to be out at 11:00 am. Seems like many places are doing this more and more....prices should reflect this.

Great time!

The house was as advertised. Host was very accommodating and responded quickly to any question and concerns we had. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk to the bay and 5 minute walk to the ocean. We are definitely coming back.

Amazing!

My children and I stayed here for a few days. It is steps away from Mission Beach. The cottage had everything you would need for your stay. There is ample room for a family. It was quiet even during the busy weekend. If you drive a large vehicle, you will need to park on the street or in the bay parking area as the garage is small. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone!

Ocean view/bayview can't decide? This place has both!!!!

My husband and I booked this place with the intention of meeting up with our sons who live there and some friends for a nice Mother's Day BBQ and hangout, I am an avid cook and found the kitchen to be well stocked and other than having to find things, the knives were sharp, there were plenty of plates, glassware and utensils to suit our needs for this special holiday! The host was super responsive and quick to reply to my questions. There is plenty of parking just down the street from the house so don't worry that your vehicle won't fit in the garage (Everything is small in Mission beach) Having the outdoor patio with a big table and fire table was a huge plus for us too, we had enough room to eat and then play games and you could see the ocean looking one way and the bay the other. BTW I would also highly recommend PB golf Cart rentals (Ask for Aiden) which are pictured in the house photos, we had a 6 seater golf cart that perfectly fit in the garage and was a total blast touring the area. Will definitely be back!!!

Close to water

The property was perfectly cozy! 3bedrooms and two bath and the closest I’ve ever been to the boardwalk and bay. Literally just steps to either side. Perfect for our family and friends to stay over a couple of the outlets didn’t work properly but overall one of the best experiences I’ve had. Also, the property is fully stocked with everything you could need. We brought plenty of beach and kitchen supplies, but there was no need to pull them out.

Place is small. Good location - couch on patio needs new cushions and floor at front bathroom is ready to cave it. Place was clean. Wifi came and went. Parking is bad - garage is near impossible to park in unless you have a tiny car. Overall, we had a nice time

Nice location, good amenities, a little noisy

The location was awesome! The rooms were clean. There were good amenities in the house. It was a little noisy as the unit above was doing laundry at all hours of the night. There are a lot of people driving by at all hours as well as there is a busy parking lot on fhat street

great property close to beach

The property is well kept and perfect for our needs. It's not fancy by all means but is well taken care off and nicely decorated for beach ambiance. Location is great being steps aways from beach and bay, the best of both worlds.

Location is everything!

This house is by far in the greatest location a block from the ocean and 100 yards from the bay. Front patio is perfect for a great time. Would gladly rent it again was a amazing time!

Do not stay if you want a nights sleep

Terrible! Party in a joining condo owned by same people! Had glass bottle thrown at us after calling police late at night! Kept up till 330am with 47 people screaming and shouting stomping on floor! Owner never responded to complaint and paid a lot of money to stay! Very sad do not stay here unless you want to stay up all night and party! Amenities sub par nothing in kitchen to cook on!

Great location and great rental

The only negatives were that we couldn’t keep the fire pit lit, the grill only had 2 burners that worked and not very many windows had screens. But we still enjoyed ourselves and would do it again.
