This is such a beautiful home with stunning mountain views. It is well stocked and a very comfortable space. We loved it so much! The mountain road to the home is well maintained and easy to travel. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The views from the property were incredible so even without the extras the hosts supplied, it still would have been perfect! The home itself was lovely and well equipped with anything you could need. The kitchen had a variety of pots, pans and appliances, there was a large variety of books, games and puzzles and there were even extra towels if you decided to go to the hot springs. Our family thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the expansive deck to watch sunrises with coffee in the morning, glassing for wildlife in the afternoon, and star gazing in the evening. The initial drive up the mountain seemed long, however, after the second day, we looked forward to the changing views of Mt Sneffles,depending on the weather, and all of the wildlife we saw while driving, mule deer, bear and a herd of around 40 elk. We have stayed in many houses over the past 35 years and this home is by far at the top of the list.

This is an amazing place. There are likely no better views in Ridgway than right here. Amazing unobstructed views over a deep valley and up to the mountains. The drive in to the place up CR5 is just as, if not more spectacular. We saw multiple bears on the way up/down to Ridgway, mule deer, and more. You will not regret the stay here, especially if you desire a little more seclusion. The place is at 9000ft elevation, so spend enough time here to get acclimated! Only about 30 mins from Ouray which is mind blowing. Great place, will consider staying again if we ever return to the area!

We loved our stay in this mountain top home. T was remote but lovely. The view was incredible. You could see a ton of stars at night and one morning we saw a mama and baby moose in the morning. Highly recommend.

Unbeatable Views

The best view of the San Juans while enjoying our morning coffee on the deck. All amenities were well provided in the kitchen and bathroom. The open large space was perfect for my sister, Dad, and I on our Dad-Daughter vacation. The location allowed us to drive the Million Dollar Highway and explore the Ouray area during our stay. The remote location was worth the short 8 mile drive from Ridgway.

Cabin of Dreams

The cabin was exactly as shown, comfortable, kitchen with every utensil and pan and spice you need, high speed wifi with two large tvs to watch shows after the sun goes down, huge washer and dryer, nice deck, two great masters. Gas fireplaces upstairs and down. 3 showers. Clean drinking water tap. It was spotlessly clean. Wow. The property manager lives very close and answered all our questions about the area before and during our stay. In winter you need a good vehicle for snowy conditions to get there, and once there you feel like you are so remote but it's only 20 mins to town for errands, and 30 to Ouray and 60 to Telluride. We'll be back....

This house has amazing views & felt so secluded. Quiet neighborhood.I appreciated that instructions were easy to find on appliances & cupboards were marked so finding stuff in the kitchen was easy. We also liked that the driveway sensor alerted us to wildlife on the driveway.
