This was not a good experience. We showed up around 11:00pm our first night to find that the unit had not been cleaned from the previous tenant. No clean sheets, no clean bathroom. The washing machine was full of the dirty sheets from the previous person and the trashcan was full. You can tell that there have been dogs there. We had no clean linens and couldn't go to sleep. The upstairs neighbor was playing loud music and has heavy feet. We cut our losses and got a hotel room for less. Would not recommend.

The check-in instructions were a bit unclear as to which codes went with which locks. Also, it indicated two lockboxes on the porch and there are three. Some sort of demarkation for which one to use would be helpful. The dishwasher was entirely full of dishes when we arrived. Several coffee mugs and glasses in the cabinets were dirty/dusty from being store upright for long periods. The idea that the kitchen is stocked with basics, while technically true, was a bit of a stretch as there were 3-4 of each basic item only. Beds were very comfortable. Overall the place was clean. Location great. Host is not responsive to messages.

Home was nicely furnished and clean. Since it's in a warmer climate, but not when we were there, the floors were quite cold, so we had to have the heat up for most of our time there. Also, it's a great location to walk to shops nearby.

The place was super convenient to everything we wanted to do. I will say the pictures make the place look a lot nicer then what it is. Their is quite some work that the apartment needs. It was a greay neighborhood and walking distance to so many things.

This property is like represented in the listing. This was probably our 4th stay here. Very convenient to family in the Fan. Could use more utensils in the kitchen to adequately accommodate 2 - 3 people. The TV remote didn't work appropriately during this stay. Every time we wanted to turn down the volume we needed to take the batteries out. This needs attention.

Lovely little condo in a great location. I only needed it as a crash pad to shower and sleep but it would be perfect for a longer stay. Property mangers were very responsive and helpful.

We really liked the location. The bedroom really needs lamps on the beside tables. If you are a reader, you need to bring a book light in order to read. There were a number of things communicated after booking and a week of,that I would have appreciated knowing before I booked.

Simple and perfect!

Super easy and beautiful location. Very clean inside! The bed could be a little more comfortable, but other than that, no complaints!! 10/10 exactly the spot we needed to stroll around Richmond for a few days.

The Perfect Place

We were in town for our son’s graduation from VCU and stayed at this property. Everything about the place and the experience with Mainstay was awesome.The place was super clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen nice and open and the wifi was super fast. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, friendly and close enough to walk to several restaurants in minutes. Communication with the property management team was easy. Any question I had was replied to in minutes and they happily met a request we made upon arrival.Myself, my wife , my mom and our 25 pound dog all enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this place 1000% to any friends, family and strangers. 10/10.
