The grounds were beautiful, very well manicured, very scenic. At night when it was all lit up, it was very beautiful as well. The pools and the beach were very nice. The bartenders and staff were very welcoming, accommodating, and polite. We did not get the room we booked (Oceanview suite) and had to move rooms multiple times during our stay. The first room smelled extremely bad (moldy) and the shower had quite a bit of mildew. They then moved us up to the 4th floor (Pool View Only) for a single night. We then were moved to a Sky View Room which flooded a bit after a heavy rain storm. They then moved us to the room next door, also a Sky View room. Again, not what I booked and it was subpar accommodations. Definitely ruined the experience from Day 1. The food was not great and kind of disappointing. The drinks were good and upon request bartenders used any premium liquor of your choice. Seaweed season made using the beach really difficult so we spent the vast majority of our time at the pool. Entertainers were good and very personable as well. The Manager/Supervisor that took over our group was excellent and did everything he could to make our experience as good as possible, but he couldn't fix the room issue unfortunately. Travel to and from excursions was absolutely brutal and turned a 3.5 hr excursion leaving at 10 am (to a place 20 min away) into a full day affair that returned us at almost 5 pm. Not sure if I would go back to the Majestic Mirage, or any of their resorts.
