The condo was great and the management company was very responsive. However, their liaison was nowhere to be found after the checkin. This was very frustrating because my plans changed and I needed her assistance to ensure we could stay longer and the transportation would be updated, but she never responded. Thankfully, the manger through the companies site was on top of things and she took care of everything! Overall, great stay, but unneeded stress made the stay less than ideal.

Pros: Great views from the unit's large balcony and the rooftop pool, nice, large, and airy condo, easy access to all the restaurants and best things to do in zona romantica. Cons: Noisy street, challenging glass door in the balcony, bizarre and convoluted elevator design in the building, no water bottles provided for the guests as a welcome gift. The highlight though: We were soured by an email we received almost 2 weeks after our checkout complaining that we stained a towel and the bed spread. We were being charged an exorbitant $2,311 pesos to replace an overly used towel and bed spread. This was very disappointing and seemed very shady. Firstly, it had been almost 2 weeks since our stay before they brought this up to our attention. How could we be sure when this happened? Secondly, we did not recognize those stains and nor did we have anything on us that would have stained the bed spread specifically. Thirdly, those towels were overly used white towels and not of high quality, yet the charges were exorbitantly high. Finally, this petty and shady complaint email put our experience in a very bad taste and our plans of returning to visit Puerto Vallarta and stay at this condo were in serious jeopardy.

Be Advised

I feel as if we were gay, we’d have had a better experience as far as the customer service went everywhere on property. Host knew long beforehand (she told us this) the washer did not work. Huge negative for us as they supply 1 towel pp only. I packed 2 sets of clothes for the 8 days. She was super against helping us get clean towels & clothes. Huge negative! For the cost of this place, WOW & WOW… sad really. They don’t allow even an outside water bottle at the pool area to make you buy theirs. I was ok with this other than the gay men couples there, most all had outside water & didn’t get bothered. We didn’t try the food so no help there other than it costs a lot.

Our experience here was very disappointing. We stayed here for 3 weeks and while the view and pool were gorgeous - that was the extent of it. The pool was freezing cold and (unaware to us) very strict about food & drinks. You will be reprimanded for evening bring water and cocktails are $17USD. They have a full food menu but only have 5 items available. They also provide towels but run out of them often and, even then, you can’t bring up your own towels. We also noticed trashed in the pool and on two weekends there were 4-5 kids splashing / yelling in the water despite this being an adult only complex on VRBO. The condo unit itself was fine but the washer/dryer did not work upon arrival. It took a week for them to repair it. The entry door only has one manual key which is very inconvenient if there are multiple guests and the condo is on the third floor across from an extremely busy and loud street. It was hard to cross the street and you’ll hear the noise in the condo at all times of the day. Finally, a week after check-out the condo said that we broke three mugs and stained four towels then proceeded to charge us $90 USD. None of this happened and we paid over $5,000 to stay here for three weeks so extremely disappointing that they continued to nickel and dime us after we already expressed frustration with this condo. It was overall very stressful and annoying as the staff was very rude to everyone around. We would recommend anywhere but SoHo for your visit to PV.

Great Rooftop and Condo

It was a great stay and would love to stay again. I was concerned being above the highway but it was not a nuisance and had spectacular views. I have stayed in probably 25 locations over the years and this pool is by far the best in PV.

Beautiful condo as advertised clientel appeared to be responsible adults most interactions were positive and appropriate. Very enjoyable relaxing 2 weeks. Neighborhood supports a great variety of restaurants and shops

Wonderful views of the bay

Completely enjoyed my stay! The views are fantastic, both from the condo as well as from the pool. The condo is well furnished and I was so relaxed spending time there. I'll certainly rebook when I get the opportunity!
