Place to sleep

We were in town for a concert and just needed a place to stay. The bathroom had "something" on the ceiling, there was some sort of mold/dirt in the track of the sliding door for the shower. The kitchen smelled like cigarettes, especially when opening the cabinets. Other than that, the accommodations met our needs.

Filthy!!!!!

There really no other way to describe it. Our check in time was delayed for "cleaning " but it was clear that absolutely no cleaning was ever done. Every surface was covered in pet hair, dust, or dirt. The rug was full of stains and had a foul odor. The mattresses were stained and uncomfortable. The bathroom tub lining was chipping so badly it stopped up the drain. But the worst, by far was the kitchen, I guessing that why there was no pictures or mentions of it in the description . Absolutely disgusting! Food from the previous renters left in the fridge. Open bags of ice in the freezer as well as food. The host tried to say it was purposely left for me! Absolutely not! A disgusting greasy pan left in the oven, harden old food in the microwave, the dirty utensils, walls, appliances, floor. I really could go on, but the point is it was just a complete unsanitary mess. We ended up canceling and leaving early. Don't waste your time or money here, look elsewhere in Port Clinton!!

1 window unit!

I've never left a bad review until now. We paid over $800 to stay 3 nights and had 1 window unit in the entire house. It was so hot! The thermostat read over 80 the entire time we were there. Something needs to be done about this.

Summer get away

I would highly recommend this place. The check in process was super easy and a great location. The only negative thing is the beds are not super comfortable but the place is exactly what is shown in the pictures.
