Great location but could be better

Overall, the house was in a great location, and the area was quiet and enjoyable, but I was really disappointed with some key issues. The keyless entry didn’t work, which was frustrating. The sheets, blankets, and towels had visible stains, and there was hair on the beds, which made the place feel unclean despite the rest of the house being clean. The house itself needs some love and care, and could use some fixing in places. Otherwise, it’s a good place and very close to the beach!

Steps from the ocean

The location can't be beat. The listing is an accurate representation of the house. There is an ant problem by the front door and there was a dead roach in one of the bathrooms. Upon arrival, the countertop ice machine was disgustig with corn kernals in it. One of the couches had glitter all over it and there was a dirty spongue in the kitchen sink. The property is stocked with beach items (chairs, sand toys, life jackets), hammock, and games. They do not provide any paper towels and only one kitchen trash bag. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. They provide one packet of laundry soap and two packets of dishwasher soap.

the house needs some TLC, down stairs shower needs to be replaced. the picnic table needs to be replaced, a/c needs to be served. some of the blinds need to be replaced. it just needs some TLC. everything else was great, all

Great location, nicely furnished, everything seems very new. Loved the hammock on the porch listening to the waves. Only complaint is that the keyless entry didn't work and we were not given a key, so we could not lock the house when we were away. A small table on the porch would be nice to hold cups while sitting in the rockers.

Wonderful

The house was perfect, view was perfect. We wanted a quiet place to just relax and enjoy. It's far enough from the crowds but still close if you need to run into town for something. Thank you. We will stay here again.

Gem of Gilchrist

The location and the property were amazing. Check in process was disappointing. The keyless entry was not working and apparently has been malfunctioning for a few months. The property does not have a 2 full bathrooms, only 1 full bath and a half bathroom. Management Co needs to update their listing and the WiFi information. They need to provide the actual local network name, not the service provider. Luckily, we were smart enough to figure it out by process of elimination since there are only 2 homes in that location.

The cabin is located absolutely waterfront. Beautiful view on quiet beach. Comfortable furniture and very nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything you could need and then some! The Includes combination Kuric and drip coffee maker. Generous supply on paper products also. Several outdoor articles including games are provided. We found the entry system not user friendly but someone came and helped us in a reasonable time.
