The property itself was great, super clean, pristine linens and towels, perfect layout for our group, nice community and neighbors, Litchfield and the beach access was awesome. The unit was roomy and just like the pictures. Pawleys Island is a beautiful area.
However, communication & customer service with Tidelife Vacation Rentals in general and issues with promised amenities was the only downside of the vacation.
Response time to issues like the kitchen lights flashing, problems with the fan, and wifi password were addressed quickly. However we had no pool passes in our packet and had to call the office every single day to find out what the status was after being told by Suzanne that the passes were missing and the HOA had to be contacted to locate them. From talking with other guests in the area it appears that there are only a certain amount of passes available in total and there were none left..they weren't missing. The pool was a top amenity and one of the main reasons we chose this place. Travis and Elizabeth were very nice but I do feel like we got the runaround. When you say you are checking on something for us, we shouldn't have to keep calling back. We were eventually offered access to the lazy river at a different area of Litchfield but were told we would need to say we were guests of someone whom we didn't know and our group felt uneasy about this. We were given $100 off of our bill in compensation. All in all we had a great vacation despite the pool issue.
