Great condo for 4 people max

The condo was lovely and 4 out of 6 people had a great time. The 2 who slept in the living room said the pull out couch was uncomfortable to sleep on and the A/C unit was VERY loud. Otherwise nice condo and a great value!

Not as good as pictures make it look

The pictures make it look better than it is. It’s much older and needs updated. No beach towels we provided like stated, master bedroom tv would not connect to wifi, front door has bees broken doesn’t completely seal. Also the management company is not great at getting back to your problems in timely manner with any sort of solution. The view, beach, pool and location were great just try not to spend anytime in the actual condo.

The condo was very clean and we enjoyed our stay! It’s a great location and the elevator wait really was not bad. The only thing we had trouble with was our gate code. It did not work!

Some amenities need replacement

Master bed needs to be replaced, the gate code did not work. Patio tables are rusted , a bit risky for kids. Location and access is good. Overall not too bd but did not get the parking access code even after trying for 3 times . Had to take help from the guard at duty and disturb others waiting behind me which i try to avoid :(

Relaxation

Overall the property was clean and had amenties that you will not get at a typical hotel such as a balcony overlooking the gulf and an a in unit washer/dryer. Now I did not like the lack of a wifi connection but with that being said I did not contact the property manager about this. This gave me an excuse to make my vacation exactly what it is supposed to be instead of making it a work/play situation.

Amazing views!

Able to see minor wear and tear to the property. We didn’t need a whole lot and only cooked in the kitchen in the morning. Small frying pans could use some updating. The most frustrating issue was with making contact with someone in regards to an email I received about balcony usage which could affect our stay. I was concerned because that was the whole point of booking that room, for the views, which included the balcony. When I was actually on the phone with someone, we got disconnected twice. No response when I reached out via messaging through the app or website. Spoke with someone via text and communicated some but no answer about my concern. So we just hoped that everything would work out. Aside from lack of communication and luckily there were no issues with our room. The stay was great and food even better. Loved being so close to the beach and ocean. And loved waking up every morning to the views.

Very Nice

Although the condo was rather plain and needed some updating, it was still quite nice. The view from the balcony was Fantastic!! The property managers were awesome! Emerald Beach was nice but having to use multiple elevators to get from parking garage to condo was confusing, because of the way it's set up. Would be willing to rent again.

Disappointing and poor property management

The building and its amenities were the only upside to our stay. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but our experience was disappointing and communication with the property managers was very poor and super frustrating. We came to stay here with our one year old after seeing on the listing that they provided a high chair and a pack n play, which was much needed for my kid to be able to sleep. We arrive to find neither of those things in the unit, and after a long call to the property manager, we were promised that we would receive a call back later that day when they can drop those items off- they did not come to drop those items off until 2 days later. Needless to say we had to pay someone on babyquip.com to rent those much needed items and drive to pick them up. The washer had mold in it, made our clothes smell worse than before they went in, and the dryer had rust in it which stained our clothes and it for some reason wouldn’t even dry our clothes. Luckily I had a friend 40 minutes away who let me use her washer and dryer, but took a large chunk out of one of our few days at the property. There was something green growing on the hallway bathroom sink faucet, and stains on the mattress protector in the master. They gave us a small discount for what we paid compared to what we paid, but it took about 11 calls to Vacasa over the span of almost 2 weeks, being put on hold, or being told we would receive a call back which usually never came. Communication from the property managers was severely lacking and extremely frustrating. Seemed more like they were trying to drag things out in hopes we would give up and forget about it all. We were very disappointed with our stay and Vacasa’s staff.

emerald beach stay

The condo was as described. However, the bunk area was not usable. There was a red liquid on the wall of the lower bunk. Could not determine what this fluid was. I have picture of what I am referencing if you would like me to forward. One member of our group ended up sleeping on the floor. Also there was only a blanket for the pull out sofa so (cold not locate any sheets) so that could not be used. One arm of a chair on the balcony was loose and moved freely so we did not use as afraid it would fall off. I also feel that a second lock on the door - dead bolt- would be good for added security. I also feel that the property would be better served by not limiting beach chairs and tents to be placed in front of the rental chairs that are for the property.

Loved our Condo

We loved our Condo, the location is perfect. The condo is very pretty and has a lot of room. Our only issue was with the cleaning crew, they could have done a little better. We found dirty dish’s in the dishwasher and all of the counters were not wiped off. But overall we loved our stay and would come back again for sure!

Would stay again

Overall was satisfied with stay. Cockroaches were visible throughout the trip. Power sockets need work. Huge (Noisy) bed and bunk beds were clean. Tv is not a smart TV. Perfect distance to the beach. Starbucks in lobby. Parking spaces available.

Our stay

Pros: Condo was as pictured, Clean for the most part, wonderful view, large balcony, love the resort it’s self Cons: Dryer did not work upon arrive but was fixed by Wednesday. Master bathroom tub would not drain, I had to unscrew the stopper and manually pull hair out. Second bathroom shower head holder was broken so the handle just hung down, you had to hold it the whole time to shower. One of the chairs on the balcony had a broken arm just laying to the side upon arrival. Like a previous review there was not a full kitchen supply - mainly missing pans. Overall our family had a wonderful time. Those small fixes would make it perfect.
