PROS:
-The shower was AWESOME! Best part of the place.
-It is Very spacious.
-Fairly newly remodeled.
-Close to Parks: 15 min to Disney, 30 to Univ. no tolls.
CONS:
-Water heater is SMALL, only 2 could shower quickly w/ warm water
-Newly remodeled, but w/ cheapest materials. Lumps under carpet, walls painted over debris cupboard rotting out insides, etc
-It was cleanish, but not as clean as I expected from reviews. Hairs everywhere, mold in showers. Piss on bathroom door. Sheets were clean.
-Sinks were completely clogged. We bought Drano, & they drain slowly now.
-Skimpy/cheap everything. Not enough towels. Ok to wash them, but provided very few. No laundry soap. More info below.
Not well-stocked kitchen/ bathroom. Had to buy basic supplies, which are normally provided for type of rental.
Everything was cheap- Toaster, appliances, mattress- Felt like a college-kids dorm.
-Washing machine complete piece of junk. Scared us to death. Drum was so loose, spin cycle made it seem possessed! It woke us one night & we thought there was a hurricane! It was good most of the building was vacant because it was SO LOUD, we would surly have had cops called. After that, we stopped when it got to the spin, & dried the load 3X. Such a pain. But a real fun game to see who could run to the laundry room the fastest and stop it!
-Dishwasher had no power. No soap was provided, so I purchased plenty, and tried to start it. No power. We flipped the breaker, tried all of the GFCI's, everything. One of the reasons we rent condos is so we won't be bothered, but we called the front desk to have this fixed, they said would send maintenance over. We waited- but nobody showed up. We all the sudden noticed it was on! So I called back and they said: "Nobody came over to fix it?" Nope. When we got back to the condo that night, it was dead again, and must not have been powered on for very long because the dishes were dirty/dish pod unused. We could never get it to turn back on and did not bother calling back.
-The beds were atrocious. Just a sheet and small blanket. I froze most of the nights. And the cheap Ikea mattresses were a lumpy mess. We all had sore backs when we got home. Seriously, we all have a joke about sleeping on the hump in the middle of the bed- because it was the most comfortable spot.
I would like to note, we did not use the pool areas while we were there.
I hope this review helps those looking for a place to stay near Orlando!
