Love the property, not the front desk personnel

The condo was awesome. The customer service was lacking. Front desk personnel were rude and unhelpful. Our key cards were programmed for the wrong checkout day, so we were locked out of our room. Didn't have the car keys so i had to walk to tower B from D. I'll stay there again, but hopefully wont have to interact with the same young lady. saminteract with the sa

Great condo!

Condo was very clean and furnished with everything you needed. The amenities at the resort are great and we never really needed to leave. We brought the boat with us and had no problems with the boat slip or the parking. Would recommend this place to anyone!

When we arrived after receiving a text the room was ready, the room was dirty! After calling multiple times and asking for a supervisor I finally got answers. 4 hours later they showed to clean the room. Other then the construction outside the windows starting at 7:00 am. The rest of the stay was good!

Spacious condo with great amenities

We had been to Orange Beach several times but had never stayed at Caribe until this visit. Check in was easy, but I was surprised to have to pay $25 for a parking tag. If that info was in the listing, I missed it. Not a huge deal. Our condo smelled and looked clean when we arrived. We discovered a bit of a mess a day or two after we checked in under one of the beds as we went to retrieve something that we dropped. There were quite a few cookie pieces and popcorn kernels under the bed along with a fair amount of dust. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware and dishes. It did lack drinking glasses/cups. There were mugs and stemware galore. The beds were okay in regards to being comfortable…not terrible but not the most comfortable. The resort is large and we loved the amenities. It did take some time to figure out how to navigate around the property. I think some info in the condo on how to get to the lazy river, beach shuttle and such would be helpful. We had a great visit and would definitely stay at the Caribe again.

The unit was very nice, but management services were unsatisfactory

The unit was very nice. Communications said keys would be under the doormat when we arrived; they were not. I had to call the management office to get someone to come and unlock the doors. We were told that keys would be delivered the following morning, so we were not able to leave the unit the first evening, even to have dinner. Keys were not delivered the following morning; after waiting for hours, I called the management office and was told that the keys had been placed under the doormat, but that fact had not been communicated to me. Then, the keys would not work. When I again called the management office, I was told, "I was afraid of that." They knew the keys wouldn't work! Instead of the management office taking care of the problem, I was told to do it myself, by spending even more of my vacation time taking the faulty keys to another part of the resort and get them re-programmed. I'm not sure what the portion of my payment that went to the management company was for, but it should have been refunded, because they were worse than useless. Again, I have no complaints about the unit/facilities themselves, but about the failure of the management company to do their job.

The owner of this property would be upset with their property

All of this property is beautifully decorated and nicely furnished this day was absolutely awful for me and my family. We arrived after a very very long drive to find the condo was absolutely filthy. Floors were disgusting there was dead roaches live roaches in the cabinets the pots and pans were just thrown everywhere you couldn’t find a bowl you couldn’t find anything that you needed and when you did nine out of 10 things were dirty There was Cheetos and blood on the comforters from the previous guest hair in the showers evidently someone had broke the glass carafe for the coffee pot and it was replaced with a metal one which would not let the proper coffee filtration to go through filthy finger prints all over the trim in the master bathroom look like a child had Cheetos and ran through the whole condo

We enjoyed our stay & check in was so easy. As much as we enjoyed our stay I don’t feel time was taken to clean the condo properly before we got there. There were dishes in the dishwasher, one bathroom light constantly blinked and the condo floor was very dirty. Walking barefoot even just for a short time the bottom of our feet were black. I feel more time could’ve been spent on cleaning between rental dates.

Beautiful unit with great location. Just needs new appliances

This is a great space in a great location. Easy check-in. Easy beach access and it’s a beautiful beach. The unit was very clean and neat with comfy furniture and a well appointed kitchen. The views from the balcony were beautiful. The amenities at The Caribe are awesome with the lazy river and multiple indoor and outdoor pools. The only issue was appliances. The washer and dryer did not work which is a problem for a beach vacation. This was evidently a known problem but could not be remedied during our visit but they were evidently planning a replacement soon, just not soon enough for our use. Also, the stand alone ice maker also did not work but the refrigerator one worked perfectly. One other minor issue, the place could use a few more extra blankets.

Easy process overall

We've been going to the caribe for years. I do find that it's starting to need some repairs, but overall it's still a nice place to stay. The pools and location are what keep us coming back. Our unit was comfortable with the exception of our dryer not working. They were unable to repair but did give us a small reimbursement for the inconvenience. The check in process was a bit confusing because in one email I was told key cards would be under the mat and another email told me that I would be told a code day of. Check out was easy. I just had to click a link in a text and we were done.

The property was very clean and well decorated. There was plenty of amenities rather it be glasses, plates, whatever. Check in was easy and location great. Outside of a small minor things cosmetically and easy fixable it was a great facility and stay.

Great family vacation

VERY spacious, comfortable unit with great kitchen with plenty of storage/dishes and lots of room for a family (even had a rollaway bed available). Amazing view of Gulf, Perdido Bay and lazy river/pool deck. On-site amenities are excellent; walking distance to beach and marina with plenty of dolphin sightings. Unit was clean with exception of floors but that is typical for beach condos. Cobalt on-site is great for happy hour, but no takeaway after 4p. Master shower heavenly…once you figure out how to use it :). Kids loved the slides and multiple pool options; onsite pool “deli/bar” is not open during off season. Location of resort is a little secluded, but just a small drive over bridge to restaurants/stores. Don’t forget your beach towels!!

Beautiful Condo

This is a beautiful spacious condo. We really enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room for us all. The pools at the condo are great! The check in was a little confusing as you had to go to another location to pick up Parking pass and room keys before checking in. There is a walk to the beach so not ideal for little ones but the trolley generally only took a few minutes to come pick us up daily. Overall a great week and property looked as advertised.

The condominium was just as advertised, beds were comfy, lots of room for our 2 families to spread out, the kitchen sink leaked and had apparently leaked for some time? There was a bucket under sink to collect water, the ice maker in the wet bar did not work.

Beach trip

Beautiful condo with perfect views of the gulf! We enjoyed the lazy river and easy access to activities. I would definitely stay here again, plenty of room and nice size kitchen. perfect location. My only minor complaint is the check in process, it is easy once you find the lockers to obtain your keys and passes, my apple maps just put me in the general direction but trying to locate the lockers was complicated but one of the nice agents was able to walk me to it. It is located behind Alvin's Island and Bellator realty for future reference. Also, please let housekeeping know that it is impossible to place a queen sheet set on a king bed...lol. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

A Wonderful Vacation

Caribe has everything a family needs to truly enjoy a vacation... several pools both Indoor and outdoor, a lazy river which was our favorite, game room, snack store. The ocean is just across the road.. This is the second time our family has vacationed there. We plan to go there again.

Fathers Day celebration

We lost our Daddy to covid last year so we planned a siblings trip to take our mom to the beach so we could all be together for Father's Day. We had ages 2 months to 80 and although we were in the middle of tropical storm Clarice, we still had a great time. Our condo was beautiful, spacious and perfect for us. The lazy river, indoor pool and hot tubs were a big hit with the whole family and there is a beautiful view of the beaches and the bay. There is easy beach access across the street and we also enjoyed eating at Cobalt. I give it a solid 10/10.
