Graduation

I booked this home for our son’s graduation from the University of Alabama. We had 12 adults and one infant staying with us. The house was the perfect size for all of us. The house was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Since the graduation was at 8am, we were all able to come back to the house for a family celebration with lunch and cake. The host was very attentive to our needs, answered all questions, and addressed any problems we had. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Gameday Getaway

We were a group of 13 Alumnus gathered for a great game against LSU. The house was just perfect for our needs. Lots of beds, towels etc. we loved the poker set and played each night. The deck was perfect to sit at and chill. The only problem was we couldn’t use the fire pit due to a fire hazard warning in Tuscaloosa. That would have been awesome. Overall a great place for large groups. Highly recommended.

Great house. Had everything we could need.

Had a great experience from beginning to end. They were responsive and helpful. The house had great amenities. Lots of beach towels. Everything needed in kitchen including basic pantry items. Bathroom toiletries. The outdoor space was awesome and the dock is perfect.

Great game day weekend stay

This house was great for our game day weekend stay. There were two couples and five kids and the space was great. The kids loved the bunk room. The outdoor space and firepit were also great.

Great site for an all guys football weekend

House was perfect for 9 men to congregate for a football weekend. Lake site was peaceful but allows for lounging on back porch or down near the water. BBQ pit was very useful and loved the large downstairs gathering area. Everyone had their own bed and were very comfortable. Very clean. Property management company was easy to contact and offered welcome parking and rest rooms on game day. Only item that did not make us feel welcome was what we felt was excessive signage about fines and extra fees. I’m sure there have been problems in the past that the owner felt necessitated the steps.

Awesome House on the lake

If you're hesitate about renting this house get over it. My family had such a great time visiting our daughter in Tuscaloosa. This house had everything we needed and we can't wait to return. The host was great and communication was instant.

Best Rental Property!!!!

We recently returned from a long football weekend at this property. I can honestly say that this is was my most favorite rental place that I have ever stayed in. The house was perfect for our group. The location was close enough to campus to make the commute easy and far enough away to avoid the traffic and craziness. The amenities were amazing….all of our needs were meet and even some that we didn’t even realize we needed were available! We will definitely return to this property. Next time we will stay longer do that we can enjoy all the lake has to offer.

Beautiful but overkill

This house is amazing however the property managers are unprofessional and invasive. They tried to get me to cancel my vrbo reservation and book straight through them. This is not how business is conducted. On more than one occasion through text message and email they stated to save me money book straight through them. I am a business owner and didn't think it was professional. After my reservation was confirmed they sent me a 6 page document asking who was sleeping in what bed and they wanted names and numbers. EXCUSE ME??? yes they want the names of who is sleeping in each bed. that is overkill and I'm not quite sure who you have rented to in the past but I will never rent from these people again. I have rented hundreds of vrbo and have never been asked who was sleeping in what bed and considering I have 2 16 years old with me it was not wanted. Also you rent a house and you cant have guest unless they are "approved" by management. SO if my husband who paid for this house wanted to surprise me he couldn't bc it wasn't approved and heaven forbid he use a towel if he wasn't approved bc they would charge me a surcharge. There are "notes" all over this house. One on a candle states the candle can only be used if a power outage or I would be charged for candle. All furniture on the dock was locked down on the columns, couldn't be moved and spiders were all over them. This is my overview.....

Excellent choice

We stayed here for a family weekend with our Alabama student. The house is fantastic and not too far from campus (20-25 mins). They did not miss a thing as far as stocking the house. We will stay here again!
