I did not stay in the hotel this night. I’ve been trying to cancel since this past weekend. I left the city early due to flight being cancelled. Ended up renting a car. Customer service with this hotel was horrible. They were unwilling to help since I booked through Orbitz.

Horrible. Couldn’t get wifi in the room for hours. Hung up on multiple times calling the front desk. Had to wait in long line at checkin. Couldn’t do anything for me since I booked through Orbitz. Treated like a second class citizen.

Absolutely terrible I would not recommended! They make you pay for everything just for your bags is six dollars a bag of that service free! They also make you pay $150 destination fee to spend at the hotel $35 a night and if you don’t use it you lose it! they also started doing maintenance while we were here closing the main elevators because they were replacing the carpet and we had to used the services elevators where you can barely get an elevator than we had to take the 26th flights of stairs with luggage absolutely horrible! Would not recommend at all! It’s cheaper in the beginning but you pay in the end!!! I don’t know who’s running this location but it’s not worth the hassle pay the extra so somewhere else!

The room was clean and the staff was mostly helpful. However, without warning, we woke to find out that the elevators were going to be down for the last two days of our stay. Initially, there was not proper signage to direct guests to another bank of elevators and it was chaos that first morning. The$35 credit provided toward food or drinks was nice but with only one cash register at the coffee shop, it took upwards of an hour to purchase coffee in the morning. It was very inconvenient. I would not stay here again. We booked the room 4 months ago and there was no mention of all the construction planned at the hotel.

Yes! Indeed, that was a great stay at Sheraton NY Times Square. The hotel is closed to most of the attractions, the quality of service is middle-high level, we feel important but enough to be ourselves. The gym was extraordinary and the coffee shop amezing. Clean and super secure space, we feel at home, and the people who work there are honest, sincere, and smile. Thank you, and thank you again. We passed unforgettable days at New York.

Elevators took long and most were out of service or packed. The rooms were not kept up well. The beds were made and all but the walls were dirty and banged up. The rooms are also smaller than they appear, and the beds are full size not queen. Very crowded, very busy.
