We got to the hotel and registration desk told us we don’t have a reservation while we had confirmation from Expedia for our stay. The hotel didn’t let us check in and even we wanted to book a room from them, they mentioned they have no room available. We called Expedia we were on d line with Expedia for more than 2 hours, Expedia staff didn’t support us and their respond was that we need to find another hotel instead of taking care of us and find another hotel for us. After being on the phone for more than 2 hours, we had to find another hotel and being Friday night at new York most of the hotels were sold out, so we ended up going to a hotel which was below our expectations. Very disappointed at Expedia and also Hilton midtown. We will no longer use Expedia for our vacations and won’t book any of Hilton hotels anymore.

Perfect central location. Minutes to everything. Elevators were a bit of a mess but everyone in the hotel managed. One thing that was pretty lame was the concierge bag check in. It is not run by Hilton and charged for it. As a Diamond level Hilton guest, I have never paid to have my bags stored.

Our room had several electrical outlets that did not work, which forced us to use less accessible ones located under the table. The room itself felt outdated and lacked a mini fridge or coffee machine, which are amenities most hotels typically provide. On a positive note, the bar and café were very nice, and we spent quite a bit of time there. During our stay, the elevators were under construction, causing long waits. When an elevator did arrive, all the waiting guests had to crowd in at once. The hotel’s location, however, was excellent. I would consider staying here again if renovations were made to improve comfort and ensure a more pleasant experience overall.

I was traveling for business, and overall the stay was fine. My only complaints were the shower and the bed. The bathtub did not drain properly, so I ended up standing in a puddle while showering, and the bed and pillows were extremely soft to the point where I felt like I was sinking into them

Friendly Staff. Elevator system is under renovation and slightly difficult to understand, but front desk staff actually walked over and explained the temporary system. Only negative was there was no hot water for shower mid afternoon.
