A very nice hotel in the Soho area of NYC. Half block from the Canal street subway station, so easy to get around NYC. Rooms weren't large, but big enough, clean and updated. Good size bathroom, with hot water and good water pressure in the showers. Walker street is a cut through, side street, so very quiet at night. Beds and pillows were comfortable, good HVAC in the room. The free continental breakfast was also good. Nice range of options and good way to get some food in your system before you hit the town. Would definitely stay here again.

Expensive for what it is.

The neighborhood felt slightly dodgy when we first arrived, but we got used to it and went out at night without problems. The proximity to the subway station is a huge plus, but our room was quite dusty (see picture) and there were several squashed bugs (looked like fruit flies) on the walls. There are earplugs available in the room, in they are definitely needed if you're not used to the loud city nights. The woman who checked us in was lovely and very friendly, but some of the other people at the front desk were not so friendly, unfortunately. Considering we paid $2000 for 4 nights, we definitely expected something better, even in NYC.

Horrible Hotels.com Experience. Best Western I will be staying on October 3rd. I made the reservation for that date and somehow Hotels made if for earlier. When contacted them to correct, they wanted to double charge me for the room. Disputing with the CC company now. Awful Hotels.com experience. Will never ever ever go through Hotels.com EVER AGAIN! NOT TO BE TRUSTED!
