The staff were so welcoming and accommodating and always pleasant to deal with. The property itself could use a good refresh and every room is very dark and the lobby and room furniture is pretty threadbare. The room we first checked into smelled heavily of moisture and mildew and there were stains on the wall coverings. The next morning i requested a new room and they were very nice and made sure we had a new room by 3pm check in time. The air conditioning in the rooms did not seem to work at all. Not sure how NYC room AC works but the temp never changed no matter how high or low we moved the thermostat; in both rooms we had. Thankfully it was cool out so we could slightly open the windows and they had a box fan we could use. The location was amazing and the Milk Bar in the lobby became our end of the day treat, every day. Overall, the staff were amazing and we had a nice time.

The staff was very nice, and the room was clean, cool-looking, and much bigger than I expected with a rustic feel. There’s a bar downstairs, and a coffee spot nearby, plus the location is great—close to MSG, Chinatown, Macy’s, and other great places. They also let us leave our luggage and walk around NYC even after we checked out, which was incredibly convenient and thoughtful. Overall, a great experience!
