Best Cabin in the neighborhood

This was the cutest cabin, all the amenities you could possibly need. Everything was close by and so much to do within short distances of the cabin. Would definitely use these host and rebook this cabin if ever in the area again.

Over Delivered

My wife and I stayed at the Barefeet Retreat as a getaway and it was incredible. This cabin is more than the owners describe. It is extremely well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The check in process was very easy and the owners were very responsive to questions (within the hour). The outdoor fireplace and tv were a highlight for our trip. McCaysville is only a 9-min drive which is very convenient. I highly recommend this cabin for a couple or small family/group looking to relax. We will definitely be back.

Awesome, fun filled cabin!!!

Loved the cabin! Very clean and mostly secluded. Lots of games and fun things to do at the cabin. There was construction across the street on another cabin but it wasn't loud. All in all, it was a perfect little place to get away for a couple of days! Recommended!

Birthday getaway

We live just 45 minutes away but a nice change of scenery does the soul good. Jen was an amazing host and her home is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the back porch the most with the fireplace and tv. Was a nice relaxing weekend with the rain but warm enough with the fire to be outside. The cabin has everything you should need.

Beautiful Clean Cabin

The property was in great condition! The kids loved playing all the indoor games that were available. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed! Coffee bar was great! We also had a blast making smores around the outdoor fireplaces and relaxing in the hot tub! Would 100% book again.

Wonderful!

What a wonderful place! This cabin was perfectly clean and just as pictured. Everything is well thought out. The cabin is equipped with essentials as well as some fun activities to enjoy time at the cabin. We especially enjoyed the back deck area. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

AMAZING!!

This cabin has it ALL! The owners have gone above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly need. We have stayed in several cabins, this one is BY FAR the best. The kitchen is beyond stocked to include gadgets and utensils we don’t even have in our own home. The list of games and activities is endless. The cabin was immaculate! We loved the ambience on the back porch and the hot tub. Jenn was amazing communicating about our stay. They made sure we arrived and had everything we needed in addition to giving some amazing recommendations in the area. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, look no further!!! You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful getaway

We were amazed at he the cabin was presented- exactly as you see it in the pictures. We loved the fire pit in the back and the beautiful winding roads/orchards around the property. It was perfect for our family of four. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Just what we needed!

Can’t say enough about this place! It was EXTREMELY clean. Master bath is awesome. The deck was perfect on a fall Saturday. Watched some football, lit a fire, sat in the hot tub. Just saying all this makes me want to go back. It’s a very new community so there is some construction going on but we didn’t really notice and they weren’t out on the weekends. Communication with Jen was super easy and you can tell she truly cares about you enjoying your stay. Book it while there’s still an opening!

Beautiful Blue Ridge Cabin

This was the best rental we have ever stayed in! What made it special was the attention to detail and responsiveness from our host Jennifer. Brand new cabin in the woods was extremely comfortable and cozy. We stayed in December so it was cold outside but the outdoor deck with real wood burning fireplace was amazing. Also, a fire pit in the backyard to make S’mores with the kids was a nice touch. Lots of games like cornhole, jenga, video games and board games kept the kids busy and entertained. The beds were extremely comfortable, lots of extra blankets, kitchenware and everything you need to cook. Only a 7 minute drive to downtown Mcaysville and 18 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. Great shops and restaurants in Blue Ridge. 2 minutes from the cabin is a great place called the Folk Collaborative which has amazing baked goods, soups and other treats. You will enjoy doing nothing in the cabin as it has everything, and you will enjoy exploring. A big thank you to the host Jennifer that made our stay extra special. We even got some fresh baked cookies delivered! We will definitely be back and you will not regret this 5 star cabin!

Best Cabin Ever

This is hands down, the nicest, most well appointed cabin that we’ve ever rented - Jen has thought of most everything you might need. Location is great…not too far to Blue Ridge. Communication was easy and flawless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We will be back.

Amazing Cabin

This has to be the best cabin we have rented on VRBO. The host was incredibly helpful and gave very clear communications and directions. We really enjoyed the several seating areas, fireplaces and hot tub. We highly recommend this property!

Relaxing time in the mountains

My family of four had a wonderfully relaxing time in the mountains. Went apple picking and strolled through Blue Ridge, but mostly enjoyed doing nothing. The quiet peacefulness is a wonderful juxtaposition against the noisy overlay that is my constant (2 kids). The “MINE” and “Stop looking at me!” Shouts of shear toddler aggression were no match in this well appointed cabin. Games to play and a grill. A cool fire pit and hot tub. Though we tried to avoid too much screen time the large tvs were nice as well. My wife and I often daydream and say if we had a vacation rental we’d do xyz… there was no detail left out here. There was nothing to add to make our stay any better other than a nanny or au pair.

We loved our stay at the Bear Feet Retreat! The cabin was brand new! Very nice, clean, and so many extras! We enjoyed the fire pit area and the beautiful back porch. It was in a great location - easy to get to and so convenient to many fun activities. We would love to come back and stay again!
