Quaint, quiet, beautiful

The cabin is beautiful and simple yet has so much character with the interesting, antique decor. It’s not sterile like some rentals. The view is stunning, and it’s very private. The space is perfect for two couples, or for us we had grandparents and a family of four with two smaller kids. It has all the kitchen gadgets and outside things you need. Appreciated the clear check in/out instructions and the accuracy of the listing. We had fun visiting Camp Casey and other beaches during the day, and retreating to this quiet lake spot in late afternoon for a beverage on the porch. Highly recommend!

The lights went out!

We loved the house and the location. Perfect amount of space for us. The only issue we had was the house wasn't properly prepared for a power outage. There were some lanterns, but none of them worked. There were no spare batteries. Other than that, we had a great time and will definitely return.

Relaxing, beautiful getaway!

The home was exactly as pictured. Very clean and had just the right sized spaces. Looking out over the lake from every window was such a treat! It was absolutely breathtaking! We were able to take the little row boat out for a turn in the lake and it was fun seeing the families and people from other homes out there too! It was very relaxing to be so close to the lake and amazing to watch hawks diving for their dinner, fish jumping, bunnies and chipmunks and Douglas’ squirrels in the yard, and bats at night! Definitely want to stay there again! Our only complaint was that there was zero cell service. If we had had an emergency, I don’t know what we would have done.

Great Lake Retreat

We really enjoyed this Goss Lake home. The property is quiet and secluded. Beautiful home with amazing views of the lake. It was clean and comfortable. The hosts were excellent and available. Would stay here again for sure. Definitely recommend.

Goss Lake Chalet

This was a beautiful setting, surrounded by forest and looking out over the lake. The house was comfortable. The only issue was spotty cell service. Otherwise, it was cozy and comfy!

A Wonderful Place!

This is a truly stunning home on a lovely lake. Beautifully decorated and super clean. It sits high up on a hill overlooking the lake through the trees. It's mostly very quiet as only electric motors are allowed on the lake. However there are many houses around the lake and a public access, and voices do travel. That said, I am super noise sensitive and I didn't have any problems with the noise levels. A huge plus is the property management company. They are very communicative and clearly take excellent care of the property. Plus there's a rowboat! I would return in a heartbeat.

Magical beautiful oasis

This is my second visit and I hope to have many more. It’s a wonderful place to recharge! The kitchen is well appointed and the house looks just like the photos- gorgeous! I enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the birds. The house is not far from Langley, which is filled with cute shops and some great restaurants. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Family and friends getaway

We visited this property with another family and both of us have young children. The master bedroom has a cutout that opens to the main living area and the master bedroom has no door. Other than those two oddities the property was well maintained and spectacular. The pictures do not do it justice. A very beautiful property.

My new favorite place

I never leave reviews but this might be the best vacation rental I've ever stayed in. Immaculately clean and comfortable, all of the supplies and amenities we needed, and the most gorgeous, private, restful setting. Loved the updated cabin feel and the casual, thrifty/chic feel of the decor.

Stunning Retreat

Pictures may not capture just how serene and beautiful the landscape surrounding this house is. The house, furniture & contents are of solid, quality materials. We found the bed & sofa to be very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, with really good cookware & at least one mostly sharp knife (rare!). Overall, very clean. Although there were a couple of “ick” areas. But I suspect these were a random overlooked or not visible, due to very dim lighting in the kitchen. That said, this house is probably the closest to clean out of all the properties we’ve rented…and I’m very particular. One suggestion might be to install higher wattage/brighter bulbs in kitchen fixtures. I found it difficult to clean up after dinner so ended up waiting until morning to clean counters & stove top & each day.

Lovely little hideaway on Goss Lake. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Only note is there is no shampoo in the lower shower, so bring your own!

Perfect lake house

I've had this house on my Whidbey Trip Board for a number of years, but hadn't stayed there because I thought it looked a bit funky in the photos. Wrong! Everything was perfect and upscale and the lake view and privacy were amazing. I'll be back!

Getaway with grandkids

Great location with plenty to do. ping pong was great. Fishing and trail biking at Putney park nearby. Very nice house. Needs some spider maintenance in lower level. But overall great place with all that was needed. Had a great weekend! Thank you

Beautiful cozy respite

This home is In my top 5 stays. It’s beautiful, immaculate, well appointed and had a beautiful, calming energy about it. I spent the weekend watching birds on the deck with binoculars the host provided or curled up by the stove with a book. I slept in the upstairs bedroom and loved the view. I will be coming back for sure!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The view was stunning. Everyone in our party (ages 5-52) had so much fun. Exploring the lake in the rowboat, watching a bald eagle soaring above the tree line, beach combing nearby… the list goes on. We will definitely try to make it back.

Ideal Whidbey Island Vacation!

A beautiful property on the edge of the lake surrounded by trees!!! What an incredible experience to wake up and fall asleep to a pair of neighboring eagles each day. It was spotless, check-in was seamless, and Whidbey Doughnut delivers to the door. A fantastic holiday spent in a spectacular home tucked away from it all. We even had a go at ping pong and it was a blast. Thank you so much we will certainly return. Happy New Year!
