The Neighborhood:
We are located in the Morgantown community, a safe and family/pet friendly neighborhood of gorgeous homes by the beach. There is a beach access point for the neighborhood just a 3 minute walk from the home. The neighborhood also offers these fun amenities:

Parking:
-The driveway of the home can fit up to 5 vehicles
- We provide a golf cart for you to use at your leisure while you are here. It’s electric, so no worries about gas!
-If you want a good breeze and a a little bit of exercise, take our 2 bikes for a ride through the community!

Other Things to Note:
We allow up to 2 dogs at the home during your stay. We have a flat rate $250 fee for dogs (1 or 2).

We also provide a safety gate on the back porch to ensure no pups are taking off throughout the neighborhood while you are sipping your morning coffee on the porch.

We are not on-site, but we are available at all times for any questions you may have!

We loved it here!!

The beach house was great! We really enjoyed this house. It was close to the beach and it had everything for the beach that we needed. The house was clean and the beds were comfy.

Great all around!

It was a great place! Close to beach, lots of things included in house like toys, wagon, games, golf cart, and much more. The only negative is the noise was not that clean upon arrival and none of the propane tanks had propane so the Blackstone didn’t work the second day due to this. Otherwise, it was a good place to stay.

Vacation 2023

The Lazy Turtle was located a short walk from the beach in a quiet community. Our family enjoyed the oversized porch swing, corn hole game, fire pit and hot tub. The house also had several items such as beach chairs, beach wagon, and umbrella that was very appreciated. Allen was responsive to our needs and had excellent communication. We have stayed in the Gulf Shores area several times, but we really enjoyed the area of Fort Morgan as well as the Lazy Turtle. We will be back!

Great holiday home

Allen was great to work with. The hot tub was perfect for three adults and we loved the fire pit. The beach is so close you don’t even need the included golf cart. Would recommend for a multi-family trip due to the layout. Each family has their private spaces/bath as well as an open kitchen/living area. Suggest Sassy Bass and Dollar General for fresh produce and groceries (don’t make the mistake of driving all the way back to Gulf Shores like we did). The community was very quiet, even though there were quite a few people there for the holiday. While this house actually backs up within a few feet to another house, you can still hear and see the gulf. There are two giant porch swings and plenty of outside space spread over two house-length balconies and the entire ground floor. The outside shower is ideal when you return from the beach. We hope to return again soon!

This house was amazing. Location was great. The outdoor space was perfect. Plenty of beach toys and supplies. It was also really clean too! The only thing I would recommend is getting more towels for bathrooms. We would definitely stay again!

It's A Wonderful Time!

The Lazy Turtle is a premium property. The home is beautiful and well appointed. The owner thought of everything from a golf cart, table games, great swing, fire pit, hot tub with beach towels nearby, golf putting green, beach chairs and canopy, and a well-stocked kitchen (to include claw crackers) down to salt and pepper. There's actually too many to list! The Lazy Turtle's location is perfectly situated, a short distance to the pool and beach. The owner, Allen, is very cordial and responsive. I will definitely return! You will enjoy this gem and your time at the beach! A wonderful time with friends and family. Cathy Schilling
