Great location. Close to the beach and restaurants. Overall the home needed some love and attention. Lots of scuffs on the wall, dings in the floor, deck with loose boards, missing dividers in fridge etc etc. I was less than impressed with the kitchen supplies. Overall It got the job done the AC worked, showers were hot, but the value for the money wasn’t there.

Although the house was clean professionally, I killed nearly 2 dozen roaches during my three day stay. That was the biggest downside. In terms of comfortable living, consider it a 2 bedroom that sleeps 8 (if people share King and queen beds). There is a ground floor room without a restroom that I wouldn’t include family stay. The room that sleeps 6 had a small bathroom.The owner communicated his/her rules and guidelines frequently and for weeks leading up to my stay however my complaint of roaches was met with a passive response that offered nothing for the huge inconvenience of fighting roaches while preparing for prom. Lastly, I wouldn’t stay here again however my group made the best of it.

After getting unpacked and settled in, we turned out the lights to watch TV and went back into the kitchen to get a snack only to find dozens of cockroaches crawling all over the counters. We were horrified! We stayed up until 2 AM trying to get a new rental (Thanksgiving weekend). Had to leave a message with the Properties management company who never responded to us so we went to VRBO directly, who very graciously got us canceled and helped us get into a new property. To this day I still have not heard from the management company of this property. Kudos to VRBO, the supervisor was very helpful in getting our money refunded and assisting us get into another property. I will never stay at a property managed by this specific company, but I will continue to use VRBO due to their prompt assistance. Because of this Properties issue we had to spend a whole second day getting packed and settled at a new property which caused us to miss out on plans we had not to mention the burden of having to repack everything up while making sure we don’t take any of the bugs home with us. Because of the lingering smell, it was obvious this is an ongoing issue with this property. In addition, the shower in the master is broken. It will scold you, you have to turn it off and on to get the water to regulate then it will turn around and scold you again 30 seconds later, and this was not because water was running elsewhere in the house. Altogether horrible experience. VRBO has pictures of the bugs.

The location was good and the property ok. Issues like leaking refrigerator and unlockable outside door were not addressed when submitted. Our group was 8. We could not use the 3rd bedroom because the door didn’t lock (external door) and the portable AC didn’t work. If we were the originally planned 11 people this would have been a problem. The cleanliness of the couch was suspect and the deck had rickety railings. Did we have fun yes. But not the experience I told me group we would have.

The house was in a perfect location. Literally a 7 minute walk from the beach. Plenty of room to entertain and enjoy family. We will definitely be back.

Communication and check-in process were a breeze. The location was nice and the neighborhood was quiet. Though after entering, we noticed the house was not completely cleaned; we had to wear shoes because the floors & rug were dirty/sandy. The refrigerator barely worked at all and the kitchen sink had little to no water pressure. Check-in is at 4 to allow time for cleaning, but the cleaners were still there at 5:00. Overall, I wouldn’t rent this location again, but we still made the best of it and enjoyed our stay.

Very roomy property with many beds. Nice fenced yard for the dog. Well equipped kitchen but appliances are all very old. Fridge had no shelves left in door and froze some of our food. Stove does not heat evenly anymore. Flooring has spots that are worn to the subfloor. Could use some Kleenex and toilet paper holders. Price was fair.
