Hill Country Roundup

Absolutely fabulous property. Comfortable and convenient for all of our needs. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. The hot tub was a welcomed bonus. Short drive or good walk to all restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend. Host was great to work with and provided great communication.

Great family stay!

This property was a wonderful stay for our family of 9 - from grandparents to grandkids and even the dogs! It’s extremely spacious; enough space when we are together and enough space when we need to wind down, individually. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime!

2nd Stay Wonderful

Our second visit was relaxing and comfortable. The home is very clean and provides all the necessities. It’s in safe and quiet neighborhood, convenient to town. Communication with host is great. We will be back!

Nice Place!

Close enough to walk to downtown Fredericksburg and big enough house for enjoying some family time! Only downside is one bedroom door opens out on a major street so watch little ones and pets very closely. Loved our time in this house! (:

Nice house and nice stay

We had a great visit here. The house was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and we loved the backyard. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five was the hot tub wasn't working and it didn't get fixed until the day before we left. The property manager was communicative and apologetic though and got someone out as soon as was possible. Also, the half bath is located outside the house off the back driveway, which is odd so none of us used it, but it would have been nicer if it was inside the house. The only other issue is the coffee maker takes thirty minutes to make a full pot, so be patient in the morning. Other than those small issues, it was a great stay and we had a fun time.

Overall very nice. Thankful the 10 who were coming dwindled down to seven. I was a bit worried where I was gonna put the other 2 without the futon. I guess the couch would have worked. Overall a very nice property. Thank you.

Quiet and Comfortable

We had a nice stay here and would definitely rent again. Home was clean and spacious with comfortable furnishings and lots of seating. We were able to relax on the big sectional to watch tv, play board games at the large dining room table, and slept well in the huge primary bedroom. All the kitchen necessities provided and good quality too - not the junk that is often used at rentals. The neighborhood is nice, safe, and quiet. A quick drive to Main Street takes just a few minutes. The host is responsive and friendly, we never had any trouble reaching them. Super thankful they allowed our Great Danes, as they love to travel with us. The back yard area could use a little maintenance to the landscaping/trees and furnishings but nothing that really affected our stay. We would definitely recommend! Thank you!

Family Vacay with Adult Children

The house was perfectly set up for a family vacation with our adult children and spouses. Kitchen was well equipped for family cooking and labeled so you could find what you needed. The outdoor seating was nice with a fire pit that we bought a few logs for. The were extra paper towels and trash bags. Check in and out was very smooth and quick communication from the manager Lee. Would stay there again!

2023 Family Reunion -2

Unfortunately, my husband and I were unable to go due to me being sick. But I'm glad my three remaining siblings and their spouses went ahead with the plans. Their comments are: Property was as advertised, very clean, well decorated, conveniently located, quiet neighborhood. The backyard area was great. Plenty of parking space. One issue - the coffee pot was VERY slow. Think it either needs a good cleaning or maybe needs to be replaced.

Very nice for larger group!

We had a ladies cousin's reunion for a weekend, and stayed at this location. There were 9 adult females, and it was perfect! The home is lovely, and the location is as close to perfect as you can get. Also, the back patio is completely set up to grill, and hang out. Plenty of chairs, and a nice large grill. We absolutely loved it, and will request it for next year's reunion!!

Lovely house. However.

We reserved this house because the description said it was 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath. It took us 2 days to find the half bath as it is not inside the main house. It is off the carport. Not big deal, just not as described. The main issues were 1) the hinge to one bedroom door was unattached from the frame. 2) the slats under one bed were broken making that bed unusable. 3) there was only 1 towel per person for a three night stay. 4) there were not enough utensils for all 6 of us to eat at the same time. After leaving messages for the owner, we were informed that they were aware of the utensil and towel issue and that more had been ordered but had not yet been delivered. Also said that he would try to have the maintenance person stop by. Fortunately we were able to temporarily fix the hinge since the broken bed necessitated the use of that bedroom. Again, the house was lovely and the location was good. The backyard space was a nice place to relax with a fire in the firepit after a day of shopping and wine tasting.

Charming Fredricksburg House

My family choose Fredricksburg for a weekend away and this house was perfect! We had 5 adults and a couple of small dogs. There was plenty of space for all of us and the backyard was setup perfectly for us to enjoy and fully fenced so that we didn’t have to worry about the pups. We would absolutely stay here again.

Girls Weekend Getaway

The property was great. Plenty of space to hang with friends and be comfy. There were a few things that need to be improved with amenities but we have communicated with the property manager and he said he would get them squared away. I would book this place again for a weekend in the wine country.
