DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
Summer Place 305 is a beautiful 3 bedroom, third floor, beachfront condominium on Okaloosa Island. This unit in newly furnished with upscale furniture and decor. The private balcony, accessible from both the master bedroom and living room, provides an unbeatable ocean view where dolphins can commonly been seen daily. The Master bedroom has a king bed, large flat screen TV, balcony access, and private bath. The second bedroom has two queen beds and adjoin the second full bathroom, which is also accessible from the hallway. There is a separate bunk room with a TV for kids. The living room can sleep two on a queen sofa bed, and features a large Flat Screen TV. The full kitchen has modern appliances with seating for 10, perfect for dining in.

The ocean here features beautifully clear, emerald blue water, which is home to dolphins and other fun-to-watch sea friends. Relax in the sun here beside our two pools and hot tub or take a stroll to the nearby Okaloosa Island fishing pier. There are several nearby beachfront restaurants that are within walking distance to Summer Place, and all of Destin's famous attractions are within only a few minutes' drive.

Our overall stay was amazing. The place was well kept. The furniture in the livingroom could definitely use an upgrade, but we weren’t there to spend our time in the livingroom :). The pools and hot tub were well kept. The ocean color is a beautiful emerald, and white soft sandy beaches! Free beach chairs were a plus and easy to access.

We have come down to The Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Alabama beach for years now. This is the first time staying in Fort Walton beach and we loved Summer Place. The condo was perfect for the 6 of us. We had 4 teens and 2 adults. It was clean and the perfect size for us to be on our own when we wanted but together when we wanted. Thank you for letting us enjoy the beach front property. Sitting on the patio was our favorite! I love how you can see the firework show on Wednesday nights from the patio!

This property was very clean! The employees tested and adjusted the water every morning. They even went around and wiped all the lounge chairs each morning. The 3rd floor provided a perfect view of the ocean while also allowing you to be close to the pool. The lobby and elevator was kept exceptionally clean as well. Our room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the balcony had plenty of seating.

Beach service needs to improve

It was cold and rainy the first day, no beach. The second day, cold & rainy but cleared later in the day. No beach chairs set up. We saw others go get their own so we did the same. Service person came and asked my husband for money for the chair. My husband explained that they were included and we had not gotten to use them at all. So he proceeded to negotiate a price. So sorry, we don't owe for service not received. The condo itself was nice and clean.

The unit fit our needs perfectly. We had 2 adults and 4 kids and we had plenty of room. It would be nice to have some basic things like dish soap and coffee filters provided. It was nice having a full size washer and dryer. The ice maker didn’t work and the dishwasher was load. Overall great experience!

There was a dirty coffee cup in the cabinet. The carpet was a little nasty. But the one item that causes me to never rent this unit again was the fact that the beach service was at the condos next door. I have rented another unit at Summer Place numerous times but it wasn't available this year. I love Summer Place because of the size. I asked and was told this unit was the only one that didn't have beach service with Summer Place. So I had to settle for whatever was left next door. I would not consider renting this unit again. Seems like the owners are going the cheapest route possible and it shows.

Beautiful Gulf View

Summer Place 305 is a beautiful gulf-front unit. It had everything my family needed for a wonderful stay on Okaloosa Island. The views are amazing! The unit was very clean and wonderfully decorated. Everything was great. The only suggestion that I would have would be to use the beach service for Summer Place. The complimentary beach service being at the resort next door was a little inconvenient since the beach was much more crowded there than it was in front of Summer Place. Had the beach service been in front of Summer Place then everything about our stay would have been absolutely perfect. My family and I loved the condo, though, and will definitely be planning a return trip next year!

We love this property. We have stayed at the location in the past. The space was amazing, beach access amazing and the pools we're clean and amazing. The only complaint was the cleanliness was a bit lacking inside the condo. The floors were dirty and the shower looked as if it had not been cleaned.
