Salt Life is a stunning 2-bedroom 1 bath home is the epitome of coastal vacationing perfect for couples. This newly renovated home is complete with an oasis of a backyard, including a deck for dining with a gas grill, a tiki hut for shade, an over-sized pool and spa and loungers for sunbathing and relaxing, and killer views of the canal upon which the home is on. There is a boat dock if you choose to bring or rent a small boat. The lift cannot be used, however. The kitchen has beautiful quartz countertops and an over-sized island for eating at, entertaining around and chatting with the chef while your meals are prepped. The entire back wall of the home has windows, which brings the outdoors in and extends the beauty of the home, as you enjoy the serene and calm views of the canal and backyard. Unwind in the cozy living room with a large flat screen TV. Both bedrooms include a king bed and share a full bathroom with a beautiful tile walk-in shower. Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! We had a great time visiting Salt Life for Spring Break. The kitchen and open seating area were great for our family, but we spent most of our time outside! The tiki hut with tv was a huge hit for our boys interested in the NCAA tournament and the whole family loved the hot tub! It's a short walk to the beach and an easy walk or bike ride to lots of great restaurants. We would gladly book this property again!

OK overall

We booked this property because we wanted to use the heated hot tub. We specifically looked for a place with this feature. Upon arrival, the water was 64 degrees. And the pool was dirty with leaves/sand in the bottom. The instructions for heating the pool/hot tub reference equipment that is no longer part of the steps to heat the water. We stayed 3 nights and the warmest the water got was 88 degrees. We were told this is expected due to the time of year. The blower jets in the hot tub also did not work as the control panel was not functioning. Overall, the house was nice and clean. There was no Keurig machine as listed. Just a drip coffee pot. One bedroom and the living room did not have a remote to control the light/fan so it was either on or off. The exterior string lights on the cabana are 90% burned out. We enjoyed Fort Myers Beach and will return to visit, but not at this property.

Labor Day Getaway

Loved this house - just as cute as the pictures, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outdoor/pool area. This was our first time back since Hurricane Ian and the destruction was saddening. However, travelers should continue to come back to this area - it will help encourage the locals to continue rebuilding. Definitely will stay in this house again.
