Great place for a family

Was in town for a youth lacrosse tournament split between O’Fallon and downtown St Louis and this was the perfect in between spot. You’re very close to all things downtown St Louis, yet still situated in a nice oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The deck is awesome as you are covered by a canopy of trees which keep things cool even on the hottest days. Erik was a gracious host. Would definitely book here again.

BEST IN THE AREA!

Beautiful surroundings, everything you could need or want! Host Erik is AWESOME!! Our company group has stayed here annually for the past few years and LOVES this VRBO. We're already planning for 2024!

Two acre quiet retreat

This house sits on a beautiful and quiet piece of property. We saw deer and wild turkey’s out the window over the back yard. The spacious family area was great for our group of six. Having only one bathroom can present some problems, but we managed ok. House needs some kitchen and basement updates, but otherwise was comfortable and met our needs. We had some issues with chirping smoke alarms and front door code entry, but they were resolved. Overall a nice property and would stay again, especially if some of the needed updates are addressed.

The property was true to photos! The host was beyond awesome! Super friendly & accommodating!

Our group spent nearly 2 months @ this property on a work trip. Everything was as stated on site and more. Host is accommodating, nice & communication was easy & frequent. We would DEFINITELY stay there again. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Great stay!

This house was perfect for our family! It was clean and communication with the owner was easy and responses were FAST! We had a minor issue that was out of the owners hands (internet outage) and he went above and beyond to keep us comfortable for the BRIEF time it was down. Getting to and from St Louis was fast and easy. The only note- with our small children I was hoping the acreage listed would mean they would have room to run around outside but the property is pretty hilly. Still explorable- but not meant for baseball soccer etc.

Our Stay

We had a blessed time at this rental. It was clean, spacious and very nicely located. We were close enough to the City to make the drive, yet far enough way we didn't have the noise and hustle of the city. Would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone.

Beautiful

Beautiful property, comfortable beds, great accommodations. Stayed with my wife my 2yo child and my parents. Bedrooms were located far enough away from the living room that we could put the child to bed and still enjoy some family time. Beds were comfortable and loacation was very clean. Had lots of extras like a welcome basket with wine and snacks, a pack n play, fans in the bedrooms, soaps and dishes. Beautiful back yard with lots of room to explore. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic!

The property was amazing and I really enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife during my visit. The house was very clean and just as described. The check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Erik was also very quick to respond whenever I needed to speak to him. Will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect location

Came to town for the 2021 NHRA Midwest Nationals. Great accommodations, decently stocked, close to everything but feels private. Great views out the back, some wildlife visitors were nice.

Perfect getaway

Loved this house. It exudes peace and was welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. I came to visit family but barely wanted to leave the comfort of this home. If you have a family and you value peace and quiet but want access to all local attractions, stay here.

St Louis Vacation

This was a wonderful property and we would highly recommend it for a stay near St. Louis. It was tranquill with beautiful wooded views. It had a very nicely equiped kitchen. Our young granddaughters had plenty of space to play and be themselves. We did quite a bit of sight seeing in St. Louis and it was within 20-30 minutes of major destinations (zoo, Grant's Farm, etc.) We also took advantage of local restraunts and a splash pad. If you want a quiet, spacious place to relax after a day of sightseeing this is the place for you.

A Week in St. Louis

This is an exceptionally welcoming and comfortable home to stay in and is close to St Louis. It's perfect for driving over to the city for the day, then coming home to relax in the evenings. The owner has worked hard to ensure small details are attended to, such as trash bags under the sink, a welcome basket, soap in the bathrooms, and enough towels! The location is perfect! It is a quiet and safe subdivision tucked away with mature trees. We loved cooking with the grill on the back porch in the evenings and enjoying the lightning bugs. Everything is clean and comfortable. The owner is quick to respond if you have any questions. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to that area!

Great Place for a Family

We loved staying here! There was a ton of space, games, a yard, close to the city, etc. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there so we didn't use the yard, but there was plenty of space inside. The dead-end road location was very private. We had a hiccup with our door code, but we called and got help immediately to get into the house. Would definitely stay here again if I wanted to explore St. Louis.

House in the Woods

Great house nestled in the woods. Once you are inside you don't see or hear the neighbors. We spent hours in the family room talking and watching the birds and woods out the windows. So relaxing. There is a pair of cardinals out there that are so entertaining. Love the family style dining table. Loved the lounge chair ... I parked myself in one and wouldn't share! Thank you for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Forest getaway

We have three very active kids ages 11, 8, and 6. They would get up in the morning and head out into the forest after breakfast to explore. They loved it and found some wild turkeys one morning as well as a very nice black cat and some frogs in the creek. The house is very clean and comfortable. Reminded us of our grandparent’s houses a bit. The location is pretty far away from the friends we were visiting, but it worked out fine. We also enjoyed using the Weber grill for dinner. Really enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous Rustic Getaway

The property feels like your staying in the country. The house is on the the end off a road and very private. Everything about the house felt comfortable including the beds. Loved the family room with ceiling to floor windows overlooking the woods. The property manager was available and quickly responded to questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay

We loved staying at this house. The house manager was very kind and helpful with any needs we had. The neighborhood was very quiet and the backyard was very relaxing to look out to thru the floor to ceiling windows. We felt very safe and comfortable at the house while our reason for being near St Louis wasn’t an enjoyable one (our son had brain surgery). We will definitely be coming back for a more enjoyable trip. A great home away from home!

Perfect STL stay

My family stayed here for our spring break and it was the perfect getaway. I was at first a little nervous that the property was too close to the highway but it is at the end of a small road and faces away from the neighbors, so while it's close to the highway to get to other places, it feels very private from inside. The windows in the greatroom are a perfect setting to relax and importantly, the beds are very comfortable. We had a great stay!

Great place with a beautiful view!

My family and I stayed at this property during the last week of March. The neighborhood is quiet but very close to St. Louis. We could see the Arch from the end of street. This is a great place just to hang out and enjoy the wooded area in the back. We loved the family room with a view of the woods. Every night we curled up to watch the sunset and enjoy a movie by the fireplace!

Nice Home Very Comfortable Stay

Quiet place to stay with proximity to St Louis. Stayed here with my husband and two kids for Spring break. The views out the back window are great! The rooms were very comfortable. My son loved the bunk beds! We felt very welcome here. The host was very attentive. Would definitely stay again!

Nice and Quiet!

We enjoyed this home tucked at the end of a quiet street on a nicely wooded lot. The sunroom/living room overlooking the trees was large and comfy for a mom and 2 adult daughters to decompress with crafts, cooking and laughter. Each of the 3 bedrooms were clean, attractive and comfy. The kitchen is outdated (understandable as it will be expensive!) but was well equipped and served our needs. Recommend!!
