Fall weekend

We had a great weekend. The house was old farm house with modern touches ….exactly how it was listed. No need for us the contact the owners about anything, but certainly felt not a problem if it was needed. We spent lots of time cooking and hanging out in the kitchen. The kids loved staying at an old farm house. We spent an afternoon at a local winery and visited spelunkers in front royal on the way in. Would recommend this home to friends.

Second visit in 2 years- won't be the last

This is the second time my friend and I have enjoyed a relaxing week at this beautiful home. This time we explored Middleburg including the Salamander spa as well as restaurants in Harrisonburg. We again enjoyed the Muse Vineyard and shopping in Winchester. Our campfire and the grounds were as lovely as the last time. This home is so cozy, well stocked, and peaceful; we know we'll be back.

Beautiful home in gorgeous setting

This farnhouse was absolutely beautiful with cozy furnishings and incredible views of the mountains. I can definitely see our family staying here again for a weekend away when visiting family in the area.

Beautifully renovated farmhouse in the Shenandoah

We loved everything about this place. It’s a 1916 farmhouse completely renovated with all the amenities, fully equipped kitchen, pantry with all the things you forgot to bring. Three spacious bedrooms upstairs easily sleep 6 adults and a kid. The backyard has a patio, fireplace and Weber BBQ. The area is totally quiet, a beautiful farm area, with wineries, shopping, restaurant etc. close by (10 minutes max). The owners were very responsive and super friendly. We will most certainly come back and highly recommend this rental.

Idillic Property!

Great historic house with beautiful land

This place was a beautiful place to stay for our honeymoon! We enjoyed the land and incredible views. Other than the creaking old floors and some low water pressure issues, the house is definitely one we hope to come back too!

Great house!

The house looks even better in person! Was great for our group, 5 adults. Stylish, well stocked kitchen. Clean. Lots of spaces to sit and hang out, indoors and out. No disappointments.

Everything we needed and more

We were in the area for a family wedding. The home provided my family a perfect place to chill between the events. Home had modern features but was in a rustic, beautiful location. We will definitely visit again.

Total Bliss

My college girlfriend and I stayed here for a Girls Getaway in Fall 2022, and it was absolute bliss. The home is in gorgeous condition, looks and feels completely renovated, and is stunning and cozy. The reclining chair and a half was so luxurious I had to look it up online and want one for my home! The kitchen is immaculate and well stocked. One of our favorite things was having so many different areas to hang out and talk/do puzzles/ snack/ drink wine/ watch movies, etc: living room, den, dining room, breakfast area, screened in porch, outside patio, fire pit area- wow! Our beds, bedrooms, and bathrooms were comfortable and very attractive. We had much more storage and amenities than we’d ever need. The grounds are quiet and glorious- you’re own little farmland feel with wraparound porch and stunning views of the Shenandoah. We walked the area, shopped in a nearby town, visited the Muse winery, hiked, and vegged out. This home is perfect if you want quiet, privacy, and comfort.

Wonderful Modern Country home

We absolutely loved staying at this modern country home. It’s located in the beautiful countryside of the Shenandoah Valley down a short gravel road. The house itself from the outside looks like a charming older farmhouse, but inside everything was new and modern and looked like a house in a magazine. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area! Highly recommend!

50 something parents, newlywed adult children & their spouses

10/10…WOULD stay here again. The property is incredible; definitely felt like we were at HOME not in a rental property. LOTS of kitchen gadgets, plenty of space, games/sidewalk chalk/coloring books & crayons, ROKU tvs, plenty of useable indoor and outdoor space, quiet…. After two wedding in 5 weeks time, we all needed a fresh pace & a breath of fresh air. We only live about 2 hours away and this little get away was perfect. We chilled & relaxed at the house, played games, made a trip onto Luray to Cooters, tie dyed on the picnic table in the backyard (covered with a plastic cloth, of course), sat in the sunporch/sunroom through a HUGE storm, found a huge rainbow, watched momma & baby deer frolic in the adjacent field (turkey, squirrels, and chipmunks, too), and ended our getaway by visiting Shenandoah caverns (thanks, Groupon!) and the float museum. Hosts communicated regularly with us. Would definitely recommend! Side note (do NOT mean this in any negative way…. Just didn’t realize it until we got there…and would NOT deter us from returning!!!): three bedrooms upstairs. Listing said 1 king, 2 queens - it was actually TWO kings!! Two full bathrooms upstairs and one full bath down stairs. The two upstairs bathrooms are en-suite, not one as a hall bath. Again, 10/10 for us. I would suggest this property without any hesitation. If we are in the area again, this is our first choice!

Fantastic Home for a Spiritual Re-boot

The pictures do not do this property justice! This home is the epitome of what one hopes to find when renting an Air B&B. It felt like you were staying in a dear friends home while they were away, The amenities that are available to us were fabulous and our only regret is that we were unable to stay longer (we are planning at least a three night stay for next time).
