Amazing Waterfront Views! Close to Marina, Kayaks, Game Room, Pets Ok!
By definition, "Coastline" is described as the area where the land meets the water and traveling along the scenic highway this rings true in every sense! Located in the Florida Panhandle in the small fishing village of Eastpoint, this fast and growing vacation destination is just minutes from the white sand beaches of St .George Island, seen just over the Bay, Carrabelle to your East and Apalachicola to your West. Coastline with it's large circular drive, is situated on almost 1.8 private acres high on a bluff overlooking St. George Island and the Bay and boasts over 190 feet of water front views and that is just from the front porch! You'll notice immediately from first sight that this isn't your everyday, typical beach home. Previous owners constructed the home with bricks that were salvaged from the historic Cotton Warehouses that were built along the Apalachicola River during the Civil War era when Apalachicola was the 3rd largest shipping port known for it's Oysters and Seafood. Stained Glass windows are found through out the home with original solid wood doooriginal glass knobs and hardware also rescued and given a new life during the great after the Great Fire of 1900 in Apalachicola Turning onto the long circulardrive, Coastline awaits you at the top of the hill.
We recently purchased this home from a family that used materials from a local cotton mill. Previous owner used the brick, windows, and door handles (in most doors) from that mill. She, also, hand-picked some stained-glass windows (which will be replaced but will still be displayed in the house in the future.) Interior of the home is completely updated, fresh paint in all rooms. We are a work in process and will continue to add upgrades to our home. We named it Coastline after "our song" from Hollow Coves.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and 3 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

Perfect location
We were in town for the St. George Island beer fest and chose to stay here. The location was perfect for going to the Beer Fest as well as visiting surrounding areas.

Central on the Forgotten Coast
The property was easily accessible and cared for. It was central to all of the outings we planned throughout the Forgotten Coast. The host was easily contacted and was very responsive to questions and needs. Loved our stay there!

Great place with bay view
Loved it. Restaurants are less touristy and have better cooking than across the bridge at SGI. Thanks for a great stay.

Great Weekend at Eastpoint
Loved our stay in Eastpoint. The house is beautiful, with plenty of room for the five of us. The yard was big enough to accommodate our trucks and boats and had a water hose for us to be able to wash the boats after fishing and clean our fish. Loved the sunrises and sunsets on the front porch. Will definitely be renting this property again.

Nice house, convenient location
Great property. Carey was helpful prior to the check in process and made sure we were familiar with the area. The house is convenient to EP, Apalach, SGI. Though we were on the heals of a tropical storm, we didn't have a rain day, do we didn't use the pingpong table, the many board games, or the back porch...but a rain day here would be no problem. House was clean and had everything we needed. Would not hesitate to book again!

Family Beach Getaway
After finding the property because GPS did not recognize the address listed, it had a1 after hwy 98 and GPS took to us to wrong location. After getting in touch with host, it turned out to be a perfect getaway. Great location, plenty of room for everyone.

Would NEVER stay here again
Would not stay again. The house was still being cleaned after check in time. Then we promptly let the owners know the air conditioning was not properly workinv to which they did nothing. So the house was 10-15 degrees hotter all week long. They also told the cleaner, who they told us if we needed anything we could contact him, to not go back to the house or help us at all. Very poor customer service. The house would have been great except for the air conditioning issue.

Relax
We had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful and we absolutely loved the historical aspects of the home. It is very conveniently located to all the local attractions. The front porch makes for a fantastic afternoon/ evening relaxation spot. The rocking chairs were right on time each evening. We will be back!
