Amazing Stay!

We had an amazing experience at Shiloh and Harmony. Everything was spectacular. There was a moose around in the backyard. That was very exciting to watch. The place is beautiful. Everything worked great and we had an amazing time. The property owners were very easy to reach an extremely responsive. We look forward to returning in the future.

Amazing house with beautiful view

This is an amazing property! It has a breathtaking view of the mountains. John was suoer helpful. We loved everything about it. It was clean, well stocked and had plenty of room for our family of 6. My kids (all young adults) loved the hot tub and fire pit. My husband loved having his morning coffee while taking in the views of the mountains. I loved all the little touches John added (bottles of water and supplies for coffee & tea, hot tub towels, plenty of baking and cooking supplies). We all loved how close the house was to Anchorage , Whittier, Palmer, and lots of trails to hike. We will definitely return!!

Relaxing, Incredible Home

This property owner has thought of every detail to make our stay relaxing and worry-free. The beautiful mountain views, watching the moose munching on breakfast in the backyard, enjoying the cool breezes while we sipped our coffee on the back deck, were the perfect start to mornings before we headed out on our adventures of the day! Highly recommend this beautiful place!

AMAZING!!!

Best property we’ve stayed at so far!! High thread count sheets. Comfortable beds in real bed frames, not the cheap metal ones. Everything on one floor. At least 1 bathroom has a walk in shower which was perfect for my elderly father. Thick towels. Provided everything we needed and more. Only a short 20min drive to Anchorage. BEAUTIFUL views. Saw a couple of moose! We will definitely use this property again! Super responsive host. Worth every penny.

Amazing view and location

The house is fantastic. John the owner has added so many special touches. Better than a 5 star hotel. Luxurious bedding, wonderful master suite. Kitchen and dinning area are great for hanging out and playing games at night. Im always concerned when renting a Vrbo , are the photos current? Is it clean? This house was Amazing!

Breathtaking views

My family and I stayed at this home while visiting Alaska for a gymnastics competition. This place was absolutely beautiful, from the majestic views to the home itself, we couldn’t be more pleased. The hosts were constantly in contact and made sure we were well taken care of. Any time we had any questions, communication was prompt. You won’t regret booking this home. Next time we visit Alaska, we will surely book this home again.

Simply amazing

This home is absolutely beautiful, simple, elegant, and homely. The advertising pictures are as true and accurate only being able to say a thousand words. But seeing it in person, it’s actually 1 million times better. The view is breathtaking. The kitchen is state of the art. All in all, we will certainly be returning and can’t imagine staying anywhere else in the future. Thank you so much for the opportunity.

This is a GEM!!! The best way to experience Alaska

I can’t say much more than what others have said. Why spend money in a hotel for one bed room when you can stay at Shiloh for a little extra and have a beautiful clean place with amazing views. John is an amazing host and will respond to any questions immediately. He checked in with us on day 1 via text and answered all our question about Alaska and places to go. We are returning summer of 2025 and will rebook with Shiloh. Thank you John and family. Looking forward to next year.

Even better than advertised! Wonderful

From the moment we went to book through when we checked out it was first class. Very professional to deal with at every step. House was, oh my, SO nice. Instead of a "we have to rent it" type place, it was so well decorated and appointed. From a high quality kitchen, to very nice modern entertainment systems down to the heated toilet seat :) The views out back are WAY better than the photos show. The mountains are expansive with nothing to bother the view. Spa was large and very clean. I have nothing but compliments for this place and the owners!

Beautiful home with a beautiful view

We have stayed in well over 20 VRBO properties and this was the best ever. Beautiful home that is well decorated and equipped. The view of the mountains from the living room and deck/hot tub is stunning. Quiet secluded neighborhood that is still close to shopping. Owner communication was quick and helpful. Kitchen was well appointed as were the bathrooms.

Great getaway

The house was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable, clean, well stocked with everything we needed. Fit our family of 5 perfectly. The views from the house are gorgeous. Located very close to the Nature Center and town is close enough to pick up groceries or anything else you may need. There were a couple questions after arrival and the owner answered very quickly. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to the area.

Beautiful peaceful place

The house was beautiful and clean. And when I say clean I mean really clean everything was in proper order there were no dust on the baseboards even though it was in the middle of the woods it seem like the house was just built. I highly recommend this day if you're looking for a place to sleep with amazing beds wonderful views and quiet scenery

Family wedding

The home was very comfortable and fit our needs really well. The kitchen could use better coffee cups and it was disappointing that the dishwasher was not functioning the first two days and we didn’t know. This should have been fixed prior to our arrival. The property manager was very responsive once I requested it be fixed, rather than use disposable dishes. Also, we had a toddler with us and the gas fireplace should have a warning posted not to use it with children. The glass gets very, very hot! Fortunately we did not have any incidents. I would recommend this rental. It was very nice.

We had a great stay at this property. The view from the back of the house makes you feel like you are remote but the property is close to so many things. The house is beautiful and the hot tub was a perfect touch!

This is an absolutely beautiful house in a peaceful, quiet location. The close by town Eagle River provided all the restaurants and shopping that we needed. We loved staying here and would not hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful!

The house was absolutely beautiful! I told my husband over and over that this was my dream house. A smidge more out of the way than I was expecting, but the view of snow covered trees and mountains couldn’t be beat. Wonderful stay and I can’t wait for an excuse to use this property again :)
