The host was very welcoming and answered questions quickly. The house was very well stocked with paper towel, bathroom supplies, dishwasher tabs, and even washing pods. The house was vey charming, clean, and comfortable. It was in a quiet neighborhood and very close to downtown.

Family Gathering

It is a perfect house for the gathering of my sisters and brother to be together. It has a large dining room and living room so lots of space and each room has its own bathroom. We bought my dog and she loved the huge, fenced in yard where she could run and play. It's close to Riverwalk which is beautiful and very easy to walk to, and neighborhood nice and quiet. This is a historic house so she's old and we had a few issues come up. The host gets a 5 star rating as the response to our issues was prompt to find resolution.

Don’t stay here in the summer

All you really need to know is that the AC cannot cool efficiently in the summer. It was set in 70 when we arrived, but read 79, it got down to 70 each night and then back up to 78-79 during the day. It’s was miserable. Several other issues as well. Would not recommend staying here

Charming Classic home, Comfortable Beds, Excellent Location, and Very Responsive Owners

Patriot Homes has the best response time of any VRBO owner with whom we've rented. We enjoyed our stay in this QUIET charming home with ample well stocked kitchen and enjoyable gathering spaces--sunlit living room, large dining table and sunny porch. My relatives over age 70 struggled a little with uneven floors and old fashioned clawfoot tubs for showering but Patriot Homes did all they could to accommodate our needs and we would gladly stay with them again.

I’m the coach of a college swim team that had a few swimmers make it to nationals in Columbus, Georgia. We had a great time staying here and it was plenty of room for all of us!

Old World Charm meets WiFi Era

A beautiful neighborhood in Historic Columbus. The home and the hospitality made for a wonderful stay. Everything is available within minutes. A perfect setting. We all had a wonderful stay. We will be returning.

Convenient and Comfy

Mighty Mildred was convenient to stay at for the Fort Moore events we needed to attend. The Property managers were easy to work with and very responsive. It is a very old house so there were a few creaks and quirks, but the convenience and spaciousness make up for all that. Bonus there was even a grill which weren't expecting but made cooking at home even more fun.

Peaceful, quiet, well-equipped

We were staying near Fort Benning so our soldier could visit with us for family day and graduation day. This house was perfect! The rooms are large, beds comfy, and plenty of places to hang out between the living room, dining room, and kitchen. We were able to make all our meals in the kitchen which had two whole fridges!! The washer and dryer were great! And the claw foot tubs are just fun! As far as communication and checking in, we were a little underwhelmed. We had to actually contact them at check in because they had not forwarded the instructions. Then, when our family arrived, the code they sent didn’t work. I will say that after a call, they got it resolved, but it wasn’t without hiccup. We had no other issues during our stay! One note, the upstairs tub needs a shower curtain on the backside of the tub so water doesn’t hit the wall and run down to the floor. Thanks for allowing us to rest and celebrate in such a lovely home!

Weekend visit in Columbus

We enjoyed this spacious and warm home. The upstairs bedrooms were lovely but the downstairs ones were a little uncomfortable and awkward. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use with 2 large refrigerators. First impression was a little rough as the outside of the house and porch need repairs and cleaning. However, we did enjoy being close to beautiful downtown Columbus. It was fun to be able to walk downtown for breakfast each morning.

Perfect House for a Crowd

Our group of 12 stayed in this house and loved it! Plenty of beds, seating, and family time for a long Fort Benning graduation weekend. Easy walk to downtown and a quick drive to base. We’d certainly stay here again if ever back in Columbus.

Great for a family stay

Great location as stated. a few blocks to historic down town. Nice walks in old neighborhood. Easy drive to airport- 5 miles. Easy drive to Fort Benning- 18 min. Plenty of beds and rooms for multiple family members. Great kitchen and family and dining room. Older bathrooms but its an old house. 2 upstairs rooms have soaker tubs with shower curtains. Taking a shower a bit difficult with the plastic curtains but part of the experience. Property had a little charcoal grill on little porch out back. There's a big yard and kinda wished there was a picnic table or some chairs out back to enjoy the nice yard. Stairs up to second floor are to the period of the house, but if you have poor knees - you better pick the bottom back room . This was a great property and fit our family's needs. Turned out really great and every one enjoyed sitting on the front porch and saying "hi" to walkers passing by. Thanks for a nice stay!

Online photos are totally different from reality! Not a good representation!

Online shows a property with great curve appeal. Pulling up to the in manicured lawn was the first sign that something was not right with the place. Walking up to the front door you are greeted by the odor of the 4 filled trashcans Opening the front door you will be welcomed by the dust smell and dirty window dressings. The surfaces throughout the home were filled with dust. Beds were filled with animal hair. Not once did the online post mention there would be a damaged deck due to a falling tree. Doors door knobs were falling off doors. During a time such as this, one would think cleanliness would be a priority. In closing, my thoughts are that this property should be removed from listing until the owner aligns this home with company standards! Especially if Customers Health and Safety are a priority!

In a pandemic your property's cleanliness is key also taking care of your tenants.. With that being said I will never refer anyone to you. & going forward make sure there's no ejaculated stains are left all over the sheets...

Easy location and spacious house with character. Enjoyed the gated front porch for morning coffee and extra long dining table for entertaining entire family. Was a little surprised a downstairs bedroom had curtains vice doors, but it worked out fine for us.
