LOCATION: Camden, SC on beautiful Lake Wateree (less than 1/2 mile to Clearwater Marina whose address is 2029 Baron Dekalb Rd, Camden SC for our roundabout location of our cabin). Only 12 minutes to downtown Camden, to Wal-Mart, Starbucks & Chic-fil-a! The Charlotte airport is 1.5 hours and Columbia, SC is only 45 minutes away. Also, less than 5 minutes to a Dollar General (a very good one) that will have what you forgot! Yes, we have upscale restaurants nearby, and yes, we are near the South Carolina Equine Park facility in Camden and HOTH Ranch (their visitors stay with us often!) We are also only 5 minutes from Wateree Recreation area! Typically, guests have access to 1 kayak and 1 paddle board, but also the potential to share water toys with our three adjacent lake houses (each cottage has a couple water toys that are shared frequently). Our lake is typically a beach-entry type lake depending on the water levels. We also overlook one of Wateree's islands, are in a cove and no, there are no alligators this far north (Floridians always ask). Welcome to “Lake Wateree Vacations!” No Contact Entry Promise! Guests have full access to the cottage, the dock and boat ramp! If you need us, we are available! We are within 20 minutes to Camden and less than 15 minutes to restaurants and grocery stores and a Wal-Mart. We are on the Camden side of Lake Wateree and only a mile from the marina (so you know our location is excellent for lake lovers and boaters), we so look forward to sharing our lakehouse with you! Pull down our long rather secluded driveway and park right next to your cottage! There is room for a couple boats just in case. And we have had 30 foot boats out into our ramp so it is plenty deep (or use the marina a mile away!) and you should have access to our paddle boards and kayaks from the main house (seems to work well).

The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms and a dining area. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.
