Key treasure hunt

After a long journey we were looking forward to getting into our property. Unfortunately first we needed to find they key which was attached to a gate quite a distance from the property. The instructions were unclear, so after 30 mins of walking to all the possible places, we rang Chicaparts. A grumpy person just repeated the same instructions to us over and over. I tried to explain that, no matter how many times you say ‘left’, the correct direction depends on which way you are facing. We then had a video call with Chicaparts where the person instructed us to walk halfway around the town telling us which way to go. We finally found it, by luck, with no help from them as they’d sent us the wrong way. How anyone is supposed to find it with such poor instructions, I don’t know. When we got into the flat quite a few small things were broken, although it was ok for the most part.
