La Hacienda ofrece una escapada mexicana única, ubicada a una milla del centro y de la playa más popular, Playa Norte. Disfrute del exuberante jardín tropical y la piscina. La mayoría de las personas se desplazan en bicicleta, en taxis o en carritos de golf. La casa está ubicada al comienzo del seguro y encantador vecindario, Salina Chica, donde encontrará restaurantes, cancha de tenis, cancha de básquetbol y supermercados con frutas y verduras frescas, todo a una corta distancia a pie. Puede tomar un taxi justo en frente de la casa para ir al centro y a la playa. La casa es muy privada, pero a solo 5 minutos en taxi del centro, donde encontrará todas las tiendas, restaurantes, bares y música en vivo.

Karen is a super sweet Host. Always quick to respond, and lives onsite incase you need anything. Her dogs are cute, friendly and welcoming!! The room is small but nice, and is all you need for your Island stay. Location is perfect! There is a nice, small pool if you want to relax there.

Wonderful room

We had a wonderful stay, the property was centrally located… just a 10 minute taxi ride just about anywhere you wanted to go The neighborhood is a working neighborhood with a few restaurants, not touristy at all. We always felt safe. Wonderful little courtyard that really made you feel like you were getting away from it all. We would definitely stay again.

Serene Villa

I visit Isla Mujeres often-I’m never staying anyplace else! Karen is a great host with great local knowledge. Helpful when asked and absolutely non invasive. Her property is beautiful. My room was quant and classic. The patio area and pool give a wonderfully secluded and relaxing feel reminiscent of a Mexican villa, while still central to everything you need or want while in Islal.the rooms are stocked with delicious coffe. What more could you want!

Charming and perfect

We LOVED this property! My daughter spent every night at the pool which was literally 5 steps from our front door. Karen was phenomenal and very accommodating. Anything we needed or requested she made happen. She was a great resource for food and activities and was open to texts and questions throughout our entire stay.if you want a vacation that feels authentic then this is the place for you!

Quaint little place with local flair

This property is located centrally in an authentic local neighborhood by a very nice owner, Karen. Great communication before and after arrival. She had traveled home to see family for most of our stay but was still in contact with us. While away, a friend of hers, Molly, stayed on property to assist us with any and everything. Molly was friendly and very helpful and we enjoyed visiting with her. She was also caring for Karen’s 3 dogs who were on property. They are very sweet well behaved dogs and not pests at all. Our room, Mariposa, was clean with king size bed and great pillows. Small fridge, microwave and coffee pot, too. Plenty of hot water. Did I mention very affordable and safe? It was great! Would recommend!

Karen our host was always around to answer any questions. Bikes were provided if needed. Clean beach towels daily as we went to the beach several times. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful Value

I am not a resort guy and was looking for something reasonably priced and a neighborhood location to get a local feel. This was the place for that. Karen was awesome and helpful before and during the trip, answering all of my questions.

We loved our stay at Karen’s place! La hacienda was a serene retreat in a bustling part of Isla Mejures. She has beautiful and well maintained outdoor spaces. Even though the house is located in a busy part of town, you wouldn’t know it while by the pool. We woke up to the sound of birds chirping each morning and loved the tropical garden.

Great stay

We had a great stay at La Hacienda. Lovely room and very peaceful. It's a little away from Playa Norte but easy enough to get a taxi for 100 pesos to and from beach. The place itself is beautifully kept - we spent the middle of the day by the pool (which was very clean) to escape the hottest part of the day.

WE had the best time!

We stayed at the Hacienda for my husband's birthday weekend. The location was wonderful and our Host was extremely helpful with restaurants and happenings on the island. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

We did not want to stay in the middle of all the hustle so this location worked for us. Karen is an awesome host - easy to reach and very gracious to answer questions or make recommendations when we asked. She gave us several tips that ended up being highlights. Bus pickup/schedule was a little unreliable the week we were there but they did always eventually come around. Easy to find great places to walk for dinner. Grocery store and small convenience shops nearby. Would stay again.

Very nice host

The property was charming and although it was further out from Playa Norte it was never an issue to get around. The bus route is only a few steps away, taxis are always passing by and if you have a golf cart it is a short ride pretty much anywhere. We liked getting more of the local flavour being in that area and never felt unsafe. We liked the traditional decor of the apartment, although some parts of it could use a refresh. It was nice to have the little fridge/freezer/microwave/coffee maker but it would benefit from a little shelf or two above them to store the plates/cups/mugs etc. Karen was a very nice host was always around the property but never intrusive. She was always quick to respond and her puppies were the sweetest!
