Beautiful property in a breathtaking location off the beaten path. The property description and photos were accurate and the property had all the amenities we were hoping for and then some. Beds were comfortable. House was clean, appliances updated and Diana was very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains!

What a beautiful place! We would recommend this rental to anybody who wants to be in the woods near a lake but also wants all the comforts of home! Absolutely perfect! The morning we left there were five deer in the backyard!

Wow! What an amazing experience!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay in Black Hawk! This property is absolutely gorgeous, incredibly well equipped, located in beautiful surroundings and hosted by the kindest, my hospitable owner. We found everything we could possibly need and more within the home. The views are magnificent, the beds are comfortable and the property feels luxurious and special. The Reznik’s were very attentive, but never intrusive, checking on us during our stay and getting anything we needed. I would stay here again, and recommend you do too! 10/10!!

Friends reunion

Everything about this lovely home was perfect. Communication with the owner was flawless, she checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The home was just as described. Very clean and so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful home! We hope to be back next year.

Fantastic House Next to Golden Gate State Park

Easily the best VRBO property we've rented. Fantastic property expertly managed. The owner/manager was in touch at all times for some random questions. Fully stocked kitchen with excellent appliances. The beds were all comfortable. (I meant to find out the mattress brand but forgot.) Due to hurricane Helene, we thought we might have to stay extra days for flight issues. We were able to get in touch with Diane who provided answers quickly. The location is ideal if you're into hiking or getting outside of the heavily trafficked Denver/Boulder area. The only down side was the drinking water. It's probably on a well and as a result, the water is highly acidic and tastes metallic-- like a mouth full of pennies. Stock up on the bottled stuff and head up the pass.

Quiet home in the mountains

This was a great place to stay for few days in the mountains. Diana was a great host and communicated with us to make sure we were doing well. The house is clean, spacious, and well kept. The deck is large and has a great view. The neighborhood is quiet - we rarely saw another person although there are a few other homes nearby. The location is within a mile of a hard surface road and close to many outdoor destinations in this part of the Rockies.

Amazing Location!

What a wonderful host. Communication was amazing and kind. The property was beautiful! We loved the stay. We chose not to drink the water because it was a little bit off in color but otherwise you could not ask for something more perfect!

Ideal Home Away From Home

I highly recommend this house for those interested in being close to the Rocky Mountains while also being close to the Boulder and Golden areas. We used the house as the jumping off point for multiple hikes—it is close to a number of trailheads—and as a spot to telework during the week. The house was perfect for both activities. It is incredibly clean, includes a luxurious steam shower, and the WiFi is excellent. The kitchen was very well stocked and had lots of counter space. The deck was an ideal spot to watch the sun set; the outdoor fire option was great too as it was cool in the July evenings. The upstairs loft and the living room were comfortable spots with great views. We were able to access grocery stores in nearby Nederland as well as Boulder and Golden. There was a lake nearby — the walk around it was a nice one-mile loop. Last but not least, the host (Diana) was awesome. She was very responsive and flexible. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Colorado.

Spectacular Property

We (group of 5 adults) absolutely loved this property! The location and views were stunning - literally gasped at the views of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains and Colorado blue skies around every turn. The house was beautiful, modern, and VERY well stocked with everything we could have needed. The host was so helpful and welcoming. We spent quite a bit of time at the casinos and it was a fairly quick drive. Lots of hiking, a lake and trailheads near by. It was one of those weekends where we already have a future weekend picked out for a return visit.

Beautiful home, absolutely perfect for our family vacation. The ammenities - everything we needed and more! Nothing unthought of. The steam bath, the bath tub, the outside lounge chairs and fire pit, the beautiful kitchen, loved it all! We hiked the 1 mile loop around the lake every morning. Peaceful and the most beautiful views. Golden Canyon State Park located within 2 miles. Diana is the best host, provided us with essentials for an infant and checked on us a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend and definitely hope to be back!

Beautiful Home; Great Host

Our family of 4 stayed over spring break. House was stocked with everything you could need, including extras of all linens, towels, etc. Host was amazing - checked in with us and had a ton of information about what to do and how to get around. Location is up in the mountains so expect a drive but despite getting 6-8" of snow on our first night, we had zero problem getting around in our AWD SUV. Overall, a beautiful property and wonderful host!

Winter trip in the mountains

I have stayed in the Black Hawk area many times. I enjoy that it is in the mountains and have many activities near by. The best part of staying at this home is that it is a modern, recently built home. It has the luxuries that you would want in a vacation home. Very nice kitchen, excellent shower and tub, and very nice TVs sofa, chairs and things you would want in your own home. Many times I stay at places and things are dated and not new. This place checked all the boxes as being a place I enjoyed staying at and was very comfortable. We cooked every day and kitchen and items they have for you to use was perfect.

Perfect Getaway

We recently stayed in this home and we were blown away by how perfect it was. The home is gorgeous, and the views are even better. We loved drinking coffee in the loft each morning while watching the sun rise over the mountains. The home is fully stocked with everything you need. We used the crockpot, coffee maker, waffle maker and probably every pot and pan in the kitchen! There are also plenty of games and toys for kids and games/cards for adults! We were traveling with an 18mo old, and the host graciously set up a crib in the master and a highchair in the kitchen! She was also a 10/10 with communication. This home is a little out of “town”, but we loved that aspect of it. It allowed us to have a home base and travel to Estes Park, Golden, Echo Mountain and ski Eldora on separate occasions. This property is absolutely amazing, and I cannot recommend it enough!

Paradise!

This is the first vacation home that we've stayed in, that had EVERY SINGLE THING that one would need -from a fully stocked kitchen (spices, condiments, coffee, tea) to bath salts, shampoos, conditioner, etc in Bathrooms. Diane reached out every day to make sure that we were taken care of. Our kids all agreed that this was their favorite place that we have vacationed as a family. Very close to Denver, Black Hawk, Idaho Springs, and Nederland. Easy drives. Tons of hiking and no shortage of spectacular views! We will be back!

Perfect hiking location

Property is centrally located for our hiking adventures. Rock Mountain NP, Brainard - Lake Isabela Glacier, or a challenging 14er are all close. Relaxing with friends after a long hike in this quiet, secluded, clean house, made us feel like we were home. I highly recommend.

Beautiful Modern Home

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Everything was clean and the house was well stocked with towels, toiletries, spices, etc. The master bedroom and bathroom were spacious and beautiful. The 2nd bedroom is across the hall and smaller. The mountain view from the loft was exceptional. We wished it was set up with a bed instead of a pull out couch. The house is secluded in tall Pines, and was very quiet. Diana checked in with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it was. We would stay here again!

Moose sightings

Amazing house! There is a lake a 5 minute walk from house that we saw moose at 2 nights in a row at dusk. Host was very responsive and helpful with ideas. The soaking tub has an awesome view.

Colorado getaway

The photos online do not do this home justice- it is even nicer than it appears! Everything is in perfect condition and is very clean. The floor plan is fun and open and takes advantage of the fantastic views. Beautiful neighborhood and scenic subdivision lake. Location is handy to visit Rocky Mountain national Park or go into Denver. Diane is very attentive and has great suggestions. Book this with confidence- we will definitely be back!!

Beautiful getaway

Beautiful home! One of the best houses we have stayed in. Thoughtful details like soaps, bubble bath, soft towels, well stocked kitchen, so many extra amenities to list. Diana was attentive, checked in often to make sure we were enjoying our visit. I would definitely stay here again! One of the highlights was spotting a moose on the community lake!
