At my arrival way before check in time the front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful getting me a room as soon as possible. The room was clean and comfortable. But I suspect the room (which overlooked an alley) i was available early because it may not be used regularly - there was no hair dryer, no coffee machine and no cups (though there were cup lids and coffee condiments). And then this morning I was awakened before 6 by trash dumpsters being emptied.

The Good: * our room was clean and the staff was did everything in their power to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The workers at the front desk were very accommodating. The cleaning lady stayed on top of everything, The valet never stopped moving, trying his hardest retrieve our vehicle in a timely manner. *There is a restaurant connected to the hotel The Bad: this hotel is severely understaffed. There was ONE valet running around the block and retrieving hundreds of vehicles BY HIMSELF. The valet kept his head down and remained composed even though guests were cursing him out and complaining about wait times. He needs HELP. The quality of the tap water in the Baltimore inner harbor area is terrible. I took a shower after my flight and felt like I was cleaner BEFORE I washed up. Our shower head was covered in corrosion and calcium deposits. I tried scrubbing it myself and couldn’t get it to come off, so I can’t blame the cleaning lady. Sonesta needs to replace their shower heads and / or soak them in CLR on an a regular basis. Investing in a water softener system for the building would also rectify the issue. The streaming services on our television only worked 50% of the time.

Front desk was nice, but the hotel itself is not worth the price. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, which are the only positive things I can say. Hallways and elevators were always dirty (there was a piece of shrimp by our front door).

Clean room and an extremely comfortable bed! Staff were friendly but some need more guidance. I called ahead to ask about dropping my bag off before my room was ready, I was told there was a locked baggage closet. When I got there the person at the desk didn’t know about such. She put a post it note with my name on my suitcase and placed it in back office…very visible. Then when I pushed the wake up call button on the phone, front desk didn’t seem to know what to do. Said “I’ll leave a note for the next person .” I did not receive a wake up call!

The room was clean however the management was terrible! My girlfriend and I were threatened to be kicked out over a false complaint that had nothing to do with us. The manager came to our room very rude and wrong when it was clearly the room with teens right next door. We kindly told the manager this and he stated he stood outside our room and heard me chuckle because we were watching a movie. The teens were loud and running the halls all night . When we complained nothing happened. This experience was terrible
