Amazing views from the house, kitchen/eating areas and bedrooms. So much natural light. Outside was gorgeous. Hot tub was clean, kayaks were so much fun. We really enjoyed our stay.

Don’t look at online images of this property - the VRBO pictures match the remodeled house. I don’t agree with some things in the listing but it is a fantastic property and we would certainly rent it again.

Great house and nice view of the lake!

Enjoyed throughout our stay. Lots of natural light. The couch was very comfortable. We had a nice walk to the nearby ice cream place called Biggins Big Dip. They were delicious. Great communication with the staff. We had a minor issue and they took care of it right away.

Great stay

The house was beautiful with a great view of the lake. The house was clean and as advertised! It was cold during our stay so we didnt get to enjoy the lake but the indoor fireplace and board games were great. Easy to get to and i would definitely stay again when we’re at the lakes. The host was very responsive to questions and loved the extra touch of the coffee bar.

Family friendly

My husband and I, along with our infant, had a lovely stay. There was plenty of space, sound machines and monitors and a playpen already on location. The house was quiet with beautiful views. Would definitely book again.

Our overall stay was more than expected. They provide basically everything such as toiletry just in case you forget. They provide coffee for all the coffee lovers. The snow was so beautiful on the lake. A must stay again!

Retreat Planning

Great location for our leadership team to plan an upcoming retreat weekend. Secluded & peaceful area. Nice location off of the lake with close access to restaurants & grocery stores. We would recommend providing additional blankets if you plan to do more rentals during the winter months. Luckily we were all local to NE Ohio, so we were able to bring some with us, but for anyone traveling by air, this would be problematic.

Elderly view

We felt the space was very good and neat. Enjoyed the facility and lake views from our house. Wish there would have been a chest of drawers or closet to hang/ place clothes. We had to live out of the suitcase. Showers were large and bathrooms were great. Cons: Communication was only through the IPad so it took some time to get the light issues resolved. We never got the code for the washer and dryer. The windows of the sliding glass doors and the kitchen were dirty. Especially noticeable when the sun was shining.

Portage Lakes Beauty

This vacation rental is wonderful. The house is beautifully appointed, very clean and incredibly comfortable. With 8 of us ladies there to celebrate our trip around the sun, it was the perfect house and location. We never felt cramped. There were many places to congregate including the deck and the solo stove on the patio. The views from the deck, especially at night were peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. It’s close to a beach and the Akron city scene and restaurants, but mostly we loved hanging around the house.

Great Location

This is a lovely property! We so enjoyed our stay. House is well maintained, decor is soothing, view is top notch. Close to restaurants, but has everything you need to prepare meals on site. We will come back!

Beautiful and clean!

The home is beautiful and spotless! This property exceeds expectations. Plenty of space indoor and out. The driveway can accommodate 3 cars and the street is very narrow so keep that in mind. Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Will probably stay again next year.
