Very nice room with views of the city. Breakfast is average to good, good coffee selection. Public rest rooms and restaurant areas need some more attention to cleanliness. Looking out of the glass elevators on dirty building walls. Restaurant staff needs service training. Other than that service staff is friendly and helpful.
Stay was very pleasant. Excellent breakfast provided. Only downside was could not use owners lounge. Have noticed this at a couple of resorts. Feel that if you are an owner no matter what resort you should be able to use lounge
Stayed here with wife and daughter, great location, staff are very friendly and attentative. Good choice of breakfast and make fresh omlettes to order. There is a happy hour (or 2) in the evening whihc is good value. The hotel is very well presented and has a reasonable gym. Would defintately stay here again if visiting washington. Metro stations are a short walk (15 min) away but the main attractions are only a little bit longer by foot.
Great location. Room was very nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast and the best part...happy hour at 5:30 -7:30 daily with free drinks and snacks. Nice time to relax after walking around seeing all there is to see in Washington DC. Definitely would stay here again!
The District Club inside the Embassy Suites in Washington DC close to DuPont circle (1250 22nd street NW) has become my new favorite DC hotel. It has a large beautiful atrium with an open, modern decor, a fantastic breakfast with made to order omelet station with fresh eggs, terrific evening reception including unlimited drinks Most important, this hotel has the most wonderful staff of any hotel I’ve stayed in since DIsney. From check-in to the breakfast staff, to the housekeeping staff everyone we met was friendly, accommodating, efficient and a pleasure to talk to. The one bedroom suite rooms are very large and spacious. The bathroom was beautiful with an extra large walk in shower with great temperature control and water pressure. While I’m not a fan of the modern decor in the room, my husband liked it. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Ryan Joachim from Mississippi gets special mention for going above and beyond to accommodate a special request concerning my food allergies. He actually went out to get me almond milk when they didn’t have any in the hotel and delivered it to me personally! That level of service really made our stay truly extraordinary and has created a loyal customer. Thank you to Ryan and all the staff at Embassy Suites. We would stay here again anytime we visit DC!
Clean Hotel, Great Location, Excellent Conceirge, Great Evening Reception and Cooked to order Breakfast. Only downside was it's near a Fire Station and near GW University Hospital- so frequent sirens , esp at night, which why I graded slightly down. However, the beds were comfortable and CLean Rooms
This was our first trip to DC. The location was perfectly situated for us. Georgetown we only a 10 minute walk away. Great shops and resturants. Froggy Bottom Metro was less than 10 min away. Metro was super clean and easy to use. Walgreens & CVS steps away fo rthe stuff left at home. We wil be back to this hotel.
Stayed one night and so sad to leave. One the nicest Hilton’s I’ve stayed at in a long time. Very spacious with large sofa,family/dining area and sink. Beautiful lit bathroom!! Only complaint (or confusion) is that check in is on 8th floor Bc it’s shared w embassy and the snack room really doesn’t have Maybe options... other than that.., great room for price!
We're DC are locals that stayed as a Spring Break 'staycation' and had a great time. It did actually feel like a vacation, even though we were in our hometown! Rooms are well decorated and maintained with a living area and bedroom divided by a small kitchenette and bathroom. Enough room for a family of four with mom and dad in the king size bed in the bedroom and kids on the sofa bed in the living area. Some things to note: Do not expect a fully stocked kitchen. The kitchenette has a microwave, coffee machine and beverage refrigerator with removable shelves. You get eight glasses and a wine bottle opener. If you need anything else, housekeeping is happy to provide it, such as mugs, plates and cutlery. The rooms are divided by pocket doors that do not lock. The bathroom has a frosted glass door to the room's hallway, which may unsettle those that desire the most privacy. The breakfast is up to standard with an omelette making crew that have it down to a science. I highly recommend you try it as it's the freshest food at breakfast. Our kids enjoyed the game arcade (games 50c - 75c each) and the small indoor pool and hot tub. The best feature was the open bar Happy Hour every evening from 5:30 - 7:30 where we were able to come back to the hotel after the museums closed, relax at the bar with a free drink while the kids swam or went to the arcade. The only disappointment was we could not use the owners lounge on the 8th floor, even though we are Hilton Grand Vacation Club members. Access to the Metro is not the closest, but two lines (Red and Orange/Silver/Blue) are within 10 minutes walk. Georgetown is only a 10 - 15 minute walk away. For great off the beaten path eateries, walk up 22nd St a couple blocks to P Street. Restaurants line both sides. All the staff were wonderful, and a special shout out to the bar staff. We'll be back next time we need a local break!
District by Hilton Nice hotel rooms with clean comfortable rooms, we had a microwave and a small refrigerator in our room. W heard a lot of the noise at night from the street in front of us, but no noise from neighbors or in the hallway. Its an Embassy Suites so they have the free breakfast in the morning that includes cook to order omelets along with many other delicious items, and in the evening they have the managers reception with snacks and drinks. Parking is $55.00 a night and the area is a little hard to navigate with all the one way streets, so unless you have to I would not get a car (we used they train and Lyft or Uber to get around). Reagan Airport was a quick 15 minute ride to and from hotel. We stayed as part of Hilton Grand Vacations so we had access to the owners lounge which had a nice continental breakfast. On our last day I went to get a croissant in the owners lounge as we were heading out, it was 6:58 and we were in a bit of a rush, everything was set out but when I went to get a plate the housekeeper came in a snapped at me saying I was not allowed in there until 7am and I needed to get out. I felt that was a little unnecessary. If you are part of the Hilton Grand Vacations Club and they call you in advance to set up a meeting promising you points say no, I found out if you wait to set up your meeting with the concierge at the hotel they offer you a lot more. There are several great places to eat or get a drink in the area. The train station is a 15 minute walk, and many of the downtown sites are about a 30 minute walk or 10 minute ride. The staff was always friendly and helpful (with the exception of the cranky housekeeper our last morning ). I would stay there again but would probably request a room that is not street side.
