Needs much improvement

We came in and the entrance smelled like manure. The market was bare and lacking basic feminine hygiene products which we needed up having an emergency and needing them. We got in the room which was nice, but lacking toiletries (hand soap, lotion and tissue). Then the shower was ice cold, it ended up being a pipe issue, so we had to move rooms after a long day of walking. We were exhausted and that was so inconvenient, especially since we were leaving so early the next morning.

Property was adequate for a quick, one night unexpected trip to DC, but an annoyingly loud radiator all night long made it difficult to sleep. The quality of the breakfast was very low given its ridiculously high price.

Our room was not very clean there were bags in the pull out sofa from another guest that stayed there. The shower was not clean either, as well as parts of the hairdryer were melted and I decided not to use it. It was a nice area but the hotel could’ve been better

The room was nice. Elevator problems caused a few delays in getting to my floor. The room showed a bit of wear in the finishings, though it was clean. The location was convenient for my meetings and I was able to walk to some meetings and restaurants. Access to Capitol Hill was a bit constrained and required either subway or taxi/ride share.

This location is very loud people stays! Idk may ibe stayed on weekends and bars clubs near by untill morning drunk people keeps coming thru the hallway with screaming laughing very loud!! I had kids also they got scared!! Overall hotel itself is very good!!

I booked a large room that would have fit 6 people for 1 night. My party and I arrived later than check-in time and still had to wait for my room to be ready. The people at the front desk had many customers waiting for their rooms. I had 3 other ppl with me and did not have enough towels or hand towels. Went to the front desk to ask for more and they tell me the whole hotel is out of clean towels! I would have to call them in the morning to get fresh towels, which was ridiculous. My friend went down after me to talk to another person about towels and asked if they could go into another room to grab some and they said no. But somehow they were able to procure towels for an older white lady who behind my friend in line. Extra pillow in the room had makeup stains on it. The mini fridge did not work. The card keys to open the entrance to the hotel did not work and multiple guests besides us had to wait for the lady at the front desk to notice us and open it. Overall it felt like the staff did not care about our concerns. They did not care that their standards were not up to par, that they didn’t even have the basics like towels for us. Honestly they could have told us all of this when we checked in, to give us the option of going somewhere else. If it weren’t for the accommodating and helpful morning staff the next day, I would have just gave them 1 star for staff & service. The manager was empathetic and gave us a discount on the room for the trouble. Would not stay again.
