Meh. Hotel was alright. Mostly clean except the shower head was molded/grimy and green. Good location though and fairly quiet. Night staff was slightly rude, morning staff was nice but one of the receptionist was smoking a cigarette literally right next to a “No Smoking” sign inside of the building at check out. Not very professional or thoughtful.
After a week of fun in Southwest Florida, we chose to stay our last night close to the Clearwater / St Petersburg airport.Staff was helpful and friendly. Bar was somewhat rudimentary. Bartender was great to talk to and the service was great. Free parking and free wifi. Good place to stay before a flight. 3 minutes from the airport.
The staff was so welcoming! Mia the waitress at the bar was very very good, extremely nice and efficient. Jose and jake were very very nice and helpful! I really enjoyed my stay here. Hot tub and room was also awesome.
This was a weekend stay. It was great to find a hotel that offered two king beds which were very comfortable. The staff was superb and very nice. The breakfast buffet was also very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel .
My vehicle had some electrical issues and the battery died not once but twice in the middle of the night. John, the overnight shuttle driver, not once but twice grabbed his personal jumper cables out of his vehicle and gave me a jump. This was on a particularly unusually cold and wet night. He didn't have to do that since it's not a standard part of the job description but he was gracious and helpful and I really really appreciated it. The rest of the staff were quite friendly and the hotel is clean and safe. Highly recommended.
This is a fairly large hotel, clean, smells good, rooms are what you would typically expect of a Holiday Inn. Staff was very friendly and attentive, both at check-in desk and at breakfast. Breakfast was of "standard issue", but unike many other "travel" hotels, they have waiting staff standing by. The room and bathroom were clean, the beds - comfortable, and they had a fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker in the room. Now, two things which I didn't particularly like: fairly poor sound insulation: could hear muffled noise of airplanes on take-off (with windows facing away from the airport - not impressive, given that I stayed in a number of airport hotels in Europe where you would actually have the tarmac in a direct line of sight and see take-offs without as much as a whisper); the combined A/C-heater unit which had not been cleaned in quite some time, apparently, because when I switched it to heat, the room filled with burnt hair/dust smell, so I had to switch it off. All in all, this is a decent hotel.
We rented a car through Dollar car rental & this is where the pick-up and drop-off was, so we decided to stay here the night before our flight. Room was clean & quiet. We didn’t take advantage of any other amenities or options. Shower pressure left something to be desired but overall not bad. Shuttle to the airport at 5am was prompt.
After a bad experience at another hotel chain across the road, we came here at 10pm hoping they would have room. Judy at the front desk was beyond nice and felt really bad for our family. We had traveled 2300km and needed a clean place to sleep. The breakfast was beyond my expectation. It was beautifully maintained and I can't emphasis enough how clean.
Our staff fly in for an MGE conference and we received a wonderful reception. Two ladies that stood out in this hotel were Shaelee and Mia. They served all of us at breakfast. We appreciated all the special attention they gave us.
Hotel staff was very friendly to all of us as we had a good size group for business. Room was ok,basic hotel room. Did not understand why the TV had so many Analog channels seems like now Digital is everywhere. The breakfast was part of the stay but they still could add a few different items sometimes the eggs are not egg consistency. Only tried the bar one time as it took 20 minutes to get bartender to poor a beer. Maybe understaffed. Location is good , near Clearwater Airport but it only serves 1 airline , fairly close to TPA also. A few good restaurants nearby.
