I want to personally praise Tania Mercedes Gomez from house keeping. She is always available for assistance. She makes sure that my room is perfectly clean. She does an amazing job and always has a smile on her face. What a great person and I want to compliment her on her professionalism.
I love this hotel.room are clean and neat. The cleaning service is wonderful. All of the staff are just great. Also the shuttle driver Dave is great. Very nice and friendly person. The bartenders Alicia and Bruce are very professional and nice. It is always a great stay at this hotel!
How can I start. I travel to FL from Las Vegas 2 weeks out of the month. So I’m literally flying in and staying at this holiday Inn for many different reasons. 1. Best front desk service from both AM and PM shift. From Liz’s friendly greet every night to the morning good days. 2. Cleanliness around the property. There is always someone cleaning, mopping the floors, picking up trash around the building and parking lot. 3. Affordable rates. Again I stay only here every 2 weeks. 4. Aviators staff hands down is the best company. I’m fortunate at times to travel with my coworkers but often travel alone. I’ve always have received the best service from Mike picking up the dishes at night, to the many bartenders Ali, Alicia, Bruce, Sean and Anthony. Everyone one of them have always kept my drinks coming, checked up on me often. From Bruce’s bad taste in bar music (joke) to Alicia’s love for sports and Rays, don’t you dare talk about her Rays when they are playing, to Sean and Anthony making my favorite west coast drinks and perfecting them with a lil FL flavor, holiday Inn is truly fortunate to have these bartenders that sometimes don’t get appreciated enough by some of the visitors. I’ve seen it first hand. Lastly the cooks. Tim, Adam and Moe. They all bring their personality and flavor to the table. And for again an avid traveler it’s always good to have a home cook meal that they truly cater to their guest. Yes I get bored eating the wings every night, but if I ask them for a new flavor or a special with a different ingredient they always attempt to create it. Special thanks for keeping me full, and at times fluffy for the food you provide myself. I encourage upper management to be open to other meals aside from the menu. Try something new listen to your cooks and your bartenders and more importantly listen to your loyal guest like myself that stays here often. If you don’t believe me look up our membership points.
The room was fine and clean. Alicia did her best to check me in early, thanks! The maid cleaned the room without disturbing my belongings which I LOVE. Every staff was so helpful and friendly! And Dave was an awesome shuttle driver! I enjoyed the jacuzzi and my coffee in room. Just so unbelievably accommodating! Makes a 4 star building a 5 star hotel.
The Bartenders, Anthony and Seth, were very friendly and helpful! The service was outstanding and the food was excellent, especially the Chicken wings. We will be returning and recommend you check it out!
I have got to say I was quite surprised at this hotel. We stayed there for 7 days because we lost power during hurricane Irma. The staff at this hotel is exceptional. Everyone was so friendly. The food was excellent. Thanks to chef Adam, Bruce, Alicia C. Liz and the other lady at the front desk at night (sorry I do t remember her name). You all made a bad situation way better!!
When we arrived I have to admit...I was not in the best of moods. We had no power three days out and I need power to use my CPAP. The lobby was busy and we waited patiently. I must say that the customer service crew and early morning breakfast crew are fantastic. They all work together and take care of business. A shout out to Liz and Jake... You are both totally awesome! We also thank you for waving the pet fee due to the hurricane. We intend on coming back and/or suggesting to friends and family about your establishment.
I wanted to start by naming the two awesome ladies at the front desk, Liz and Judy. I can't say enough about how helpful and friendly they were. From the moment I checked in, tired after a 13 hour day at work, they were so polite and welcoming making me feel great. With no power at home and working as a first responder I needed a place to call home for a few days, and I was glad I did at this location. Liz and Judy are fantastic and really go above and beyond when it comes to making someone feel welcome with a high level of customer service. I also wanted to thank Bruce at the tavern who was dealing with people who were thrilled to get a real meal for a change and he was kind, prompt, and professional. Those are names I recall, but every staff member I came across or dealt with were professional, friendly, and welcoming. I am usually a Marriott person just because of family staying there for so long. With limited options during the storm this Holiday Inn was located and might change my preference for the future. The hotel was clean, updated, and well maintained. It had a nice pool in the back I didn't get a chance to use, plenty of parking, and a very nice lobby. The room seemed recently updated and was very clean. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the room had a fridge and microwave which came in handy. A huge thank you to the Holiday Inn and all staff who made my stay enjoyable and relaxing during a very stressful time. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone asking and this would be my first location to stay at again if I need to stay local.
The hotel was very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Pool clean and well maintained. We went to the tavern on premises. The food was excellent. Chef Adam did a great job. Wings were yum, fried mushrooms were fresh and tasty. Salsa and chips, fully loaded french fries, yum again. Our visit isn't over yet, looking forward to cheesesteak sandwich recommended by another visitor. Also bartenders Bruce, Anthony, Alicia very attentive. Front desk staff Carolina and Liz also helpful. Thank you so much!
This wouldn't be my first choice for a hotel. It's right next to an airport, and really isn't anything to look at. However, when Hurricane Irma comes through and you can't go home and you have two 45-pound dogs, your choices are seriously limited. Holiday Inn offered to waive their standard pet fee and had rooms priced around $100/night - very affordable compared to the $300/night we paid before we found this place! The absolutely amazing customer service far surpasses the mediocre looking building. From the very moment we first called to inquire about room availability, their staff has gone above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. The first room we were in had an issue with a wet carpet (likely from the storm). They immediately had a maintenance man up to fix it. Alex helped to dry the room and also fixed an issue with a wobbly dresser. When the carpets still smelled a little funky, the hotel had us moved rooms within minutes, and Alex was up there to help us move our bags. He was happy and cheerful the entire time. Judy at the front desk helped organize everything. She also helped provide extra toiletries for our family of 4. The bartenders in the Aviator's Tavern were also really excellent. I believe our bartender was named Anthony. He was very charming and attentive even though they were on a limited menu due to Irma messing up their delivery schedule. The food was surprisingly good for a restaurant attached to a hotel. I really liked their buffalo wings, although they aren't covered in sauce like most places offer (I personally prefer this, but I also know I am in the minority there!). My husband ordered a burger with pesto potatoes which were also really good. They offer a free breakfast that is a little nicer than most places, with bacon, sausage, potatoes with onions and peppers, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, bread/toast, yogurt, and waffles/pancakes. Every single employee we saw was really nice, everyone had a smile and constantly asked if there was anything they could do for for us. Overall, if you are looking for a decent, clean room, this is the hotel for you. It's not a fancy resort, but when you have no power, the AC, internet, and hot meals makes it seem like heaven on earth! The service alone made it a 10-star hotel and has made it our go-to hotel whenever we need to leave the house again!
