Get ready to relax and enjoy a stay in "A Treasured Retreat"! This spacious 3 bed/2 bath Island home is located on a beautiful canal and is just a short 10 minute walk to the beach with dedicated beach access. Bring your boat, kayak or paddleboard so you can explore and fish the scenic waterways. Only a 15 minute drive from Historic Downtown St Augustine, "A Treasured Retreat" is the perfect place for making lasting memories for families, friends, beach-goers, boaters and everyone in between.
The space
Room 1 has a king-sized bed, cable TV and a large walk-in closet with plenty of room for your luggage. There is an en-suite bath w jetted bathtub and separate shower. Room 2 has a queen-sized bed and Room 3 has two twin-sized beds. Both spare bedrooms have their own closet space and share a second bath. In the living room you can unwind watching TV or playing board games with room for two more guests on the pull out couch. Off the back, there's a separate sunroom with it's own conversation area and a foosball table, There is a a wooden deck space outside for grilling your fresh catch. Imagine cozying up to the gas firepit on the dock while taking in the view. From there, check out the wooden ramp leading you to the floating dock where you can fish, and keep your boat, kayaks or paddleboards. A short trip through the canal way and soon enough you'll be out enjoying the Matanzas River!
Guest access
Ample parking for up to four cars in the driveway. The boat ramp (Frank Butler Park) is less than 5 minutes away by car and less than ten minutes by boat making it very convenient for bringing/launching your water toys.

We only stayed one night, but it was a good experience! The pros were the location to the beach, communication with property manager and amenities in the house (even a snack basket!) The cons were that the furniture had stains and is pretty worn, so could use some updating. And the bathroom floors were a little dirty. However, we still enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

Property could not have been more perfect for my family to enjoy the Matanzas River and Saint Augustine. Accommodations were excellent and exactly as advertised. We were able to catch redfish, flounder, snook, and snapper by departing from the floating dock. Easy access to Butler Beach boat ramp. Again, very impressive VRBO rental. 5-stars +!

Great location with beautiful sunsets! A short walk to the beach with access that was nearly private compared to other sections of the beach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with enough room for our family. We grilled each night and hung out on the deck and floating dock, watching the sunset. This was the perfect spot for our family to relax after exploring downtown St. Augustine and Treasure beach. We will definitely be back in the near future!

Perfect cute quiet but nice size beach place

We stayed here for my low key bachelorette party for 2 night. It was great-everyone had their own space. We were able to spend time inside and outside. They also had lots beach supplies including a wagon and towels. The private beach walk was a short distance and very nice walk to do in the morning and when we went to the beach in the afternoon! We loved it here and had great communication with Josh when needed. Highly recommend!

St Augustine Wedding

My family, plus, attended a wedding in St Augustine on Friday, October 13. Since I don’t have a lot of time with my children, and they were all attending, I wanted to book a weekend stay. The home accommodated us well. The owners were easy to communicate with. Having the dock and water in the back was perfect for the kids to hang out with each other. The only thing that I would note, and maybe I just missed it, is that it is listed as a 4/2. There are only 3 bedrooms with the 4th sleeping area being in the living room. Sleeper sofa was comfy according to those that had to sleep on it. Would definitely book again.
