Stayed for two nights to attend a family wedding. Check in was very easy and property had all ammenities needed for comfortable stay. Really enjoyed the area and local golf course Wandamere is very nice. Would definitely stay here again and likely bring our dog next time.

Disappointed and mislead by listing

Pictures and descriptions are misleading on listing and are not up to date. This property was in need of many repairs and attention. We had a few safety concerns as we had 4 of our grandchildren with us, all under the age of 5. One of which was a very low hanging wire from the house to utility pole. HVAC did not cool upstairs bedrooms making it unbearably hot. Game areas had broken darts and paddles. Hot tub was in terrible shape. the only positive was the proximity to the river day park.

The outdoor amenities are run down and not kept up. The Jacuzzi was dirty. The pool table was moved into the garage which makes sense, however there were no other outdoor games present. There was pet hair everywhere if you aren't allergic, no issues, if you are avoid. There is not enough seating at the table to play board games even a folding chair would've been a nice addition. We selected this place based on previous reviews and we're sorely disappointed! It is okay not great. That being said, we had a great time visiting our family and we're grateful we had a place to be together.

Serious Deep Clean & Maintenance needs--Managed by Chaotic Team who push guests for high reviews

The home appears beautiful in the listing photos and is reported as clean in reviews. We chose this home 7 months ago for a family event, requiring the exact configuration. The decor is attractive and we were grateful for basic cleaning (bed sheets, 2/3 bathrooms, most of kitchen). Beyond this (inside kitchen drawers, on carpeted surfaces, on walls and windows, in basement shower) the house was filthy and desperately in need of maintenance/repairs. We spent hours scrubbing dishes/pots/pans with food stuck to them, wiping dog slobber off of sliders, fingerprints/food from kitchen surfaces, and dirt from prominent walls. The carpet is absolutely filthy. Even though they voluntarily refunded our cleaning fee (the minimum), we were disturbed by how the ambiguous management team (Smart Host Vacation Rentals) handled the situation. We exchanged messages both through VRBO and on 3 outside numbers. The contact shifted confusingly and was uninformed, so we had to re-explain repeatedly. In our final exchange, the manager (?) asserted we should leave and they would refund remaining nights, implying they knew they couldn't earn a 5 star review. We felt vulnerable/threatened, as we had nowhere to go. They reported 80 open rentals for 8 people. We searched and found zero with our parameters. Our needs were more than 8 pillows, but they didn't ask. We were effectively silenced by a poorly run management team, who throughout our stay, solicited a 5 star review through automated text/email.

The inside was comfortable and clean. The outside was a huge disappointment, as it was unkept and so dirty. The hot tub had very low water, was very dirty, and had broken wood hanging off of it. The area was just unkept and we didn't spend any time out there, which was so disappointing, as we planned to BBQ and use the firepit and hot tub. You would think if clients were coming to use the property, a little more care would be done, to welcome them, with a mowed lawn, clean patio, and working hot tub.

Feedback for great stay

14409 rental feedbackHappy with bedrooms and showers. Great room heated cozy with fireplace. Kitchen very nice. Thank you for the coffee! Condiment basket discovered in lower cabinet. Some items such as salad dressings, looked like they should have been refrigerated.Unable to locate garage door opener. Not in kitchen basket as advertised. With our age and my mobility limitations, access to garage from driveway parking would have been really nice to unload during arrival and checkout rainstorm. Some confusion about checkout time this morning, we thought we had till 11:00, listed different in booklet.Stovetop tea kettle inside chipping off, we chose not to use.Nice quiet comfortable sleepLower level toilet rocks and stand is quite wiggly.Hot tub 102 degrees, nice and clean. Location in such a nice neighborhood and perfect for family memorial in Deer Park. So lovely.Thank you, we hope to return!

Great property!

We arrived late but directions for the home were very clear. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the home as we were in town for the State Basketball Tournament. About a 20 minute drive from downtown Spokane. Plenty of amenities within a 5 min drive. The property manager also replied to our questions. We would definitely stay there again :)

Great location based on family homes nearby but overall disappointed

Disappointments: Hot tub water was green w/ a brown foam ring, unusable. #1 reason we reserved this home. Mold ring inside both toilet bowls. No garbage bags or dishwasher pods. Stained shower curtain. Large crumbs in kitchen drawers. Kitchen utensils were minimal. .

Perfect Location

The place was located centrally to our family. It was a great neighborhood and the river access was a short walk away. Several issues during our stay but the host responded promptly and even went the extra mile and had items delivered. The silverware is only enough to get through 1 meal with a family of 6. I would upgrade and I would replace the ping pong table if you continue to advertise. It is not in working order. Thank you
