Our home is a fully equipped 1,200 sqft 3 bed/3 bath mountain condo. Two bedrooms with queen size beds are on the main floor, along with the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The second floor is a large loft-style bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds.
Enjoy the panoramic mountain views through huge picture windows while you share a meal with family and friends or relax in the living area. The dining room table seats 8 and there is seating for 3 at the breakfast bar. The gas fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere.
The property clubhouse, right across the parking lot and adjacent to our building, is considered to be the best clubhouse in the WilderNest neighborhood. Two indoor hot tubs; indoor pool; sauna. Changing rooms. Indoor racquetball. Indoor pool, foosball, ping-pong tables. Outdoor tennis and pickleball (summers only). Credit card operated laundry machines.
The property backs to Eagle's Nest Wilderness Area. Two wilderness trailheads are within a 1/4 mile walk from the building and provide easy access to a range of hiking and snowshoeing trails. And we frequently see wildlife on the property: moose, elk, deer, foxes, even bears.
Our home is well-equipped with all the things we like to have handy for a great family vacation. A fully stocked kitchen and pantry, so we can easily cook whatever we fancy. Multiple sets of snowshoes, kid's sleds, tennis racquets, books and toys, board games. TV with Apple TV and Google ChromeCast. A great stereo system. Everything you and your family need to relax!
And of course don't forget the skiing! Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Loveland Pass are all a 20 minutes' drive. Breckenridge, A-Basin, and Ski Cooper are 30 minutes away. You can be in Vail and Beaver Creek in 45 minutes. Hallway ski locker for storing your skis and poles.
Summit County is a great vacation destination in the summer too! Hiking, trail rides, golf, climbing, road and mountain biking. Water sports at Lake Dillon (canoes, kayaks, sailing). Music festivals and summer concerts. Scenic train rides.
NEW FOR 2024 -- we just finished a major remodel. We remodeled the master bath, updated the first floor flooring, replaced all of the windows and window coverings, and repainted the entire unit.
