Great room and had a peaceful atmosphere and wuiet

Our rooms were not adjoining after I requested 2 mo this prior and also went in person 3 weeks to confirm and called 1 week to confirm before checking in. Terrible

I had a few issues with this hotel. For the price it costs to stay, I expected better. 1) Check-in is at 3pm. We were not able to get in a room until 4:20. We had a shuttle picking us up at 5, and that was inconvenient. We got moved to another room, eventually (on the first floor), but why didn't they do that when we walked in to begin with? 2) There was a spider in our room, in a web, near the entry way. In a very visible place. 3) The AC thermostat was not accurate. Upon arrival, it stated it was 71. We were hot all night and moved the thermostat far below 71, but the room did not cool down much at all. 4) Breakfast was supposed to be served until 9:30. The room where the breakfast was located was hidden. I was told twice by the front desk that it was "the first door on the left after the double doors." There were no DOUBLE DOORS at all. We were running late to breakfast, but just planned on grabbing a bagel or cereal to eat in the room, but when I went back up to the front desk to explain my key was not working in the room I believe she was sending me to, she looked at me and said, "Sorry, it's closed now." She knew we were looking for it for 3 min. She could have let us in to grab something quick. I believe they locked the doors before 9:30. So then our departure was delayed and we had to spend additional money on breakfast. For the price I paid, I expected more. The hotel property was very cute. I liked the fact our room had a little balcony.
