Many transients in the area with what appeared to be significant illegal activity. No cable.

Price for room and friendliness of staff helped make up for aging facility. Breakfast offerings could be improved with fresh fruit and yogurt.

From the moment I got there, I felt unsafe. We went to check in and the staff was using inappropriate language when speaking to each other. We checked in, and went to park our car. Right away we saw three groups of homeless people sitting around in the parking lot. Another group of younger kids looked like they were up to no good. We didn't feel safe at all. We drove back to the front desk handed back the key and checked out ten minutes after checking in. Just needed a quick place to stay, but never ever would I recommend this place. Paid for two hotels this night just to get away from this place.

We needed a hotel that was not very far from the freeway, since we're going to LA and we needed to stop and see some attractions in that side of the valley we chose this hotel.

Bad neighborhood. Great staff. Rooms were adequate.

The hotel looks so cheap and not clean. I found a lot of brown hair at a bathroom. And I don't like such a bad smell room. And also the air conditioner was really dusty. But the staffs were kind.

I knew the area quite well, so I was not too worried about it when I booked. However, being right next to trax and a Mexican restaurant, and the outside door that was to remain locked was not. Was sort of scary. There was a lot of people hanging out on the steps. The room itself wasn't too bad, it was old and could use some updating, but they did try to make it as nice as they could. The bed, was way too hard for me. The gentleman who checked me in was really nice and to the point.

Hard to find, not clean, at all. The hotel staff was not happy to help us. It's not close to anything else (restaurants, gas stations, etc.). Their directions had us going the wrong way.

What the he'll this ghetto ist of a hotel won't stay there any time more fair

Good location and close to things around the salt lake city area! The room could use a good cleaning! The breakfast could use more itemson the menu

Fairly clean, comfortable free ugraded king size bed

Had a nice quite time to myself it was amazing ot gave me time to figure me out I liked it

Could have had more towels, bed a little softer and a better breakfast. Location was fine

This hotel is cheap. And you don't even get everything you pay for. The front desk staff was not excited to help when I walked in the door, but I did get checked in rather quickly. The exterior doors are always unlocked (not a good idea, the neighborhood is not the greatest), even though they have a key reader at the door. The room was at one time a smoking room and still had the smell. We were given only 2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths. No hand towel or bath mat. We were also only afforded one small bar of soap, so you get to move it from the sink to the shower. The bathroom smelled of urine. The room was surface clean, meaning it had been wiped down, but it didn't appear as if they used any cleaning chemicals to clean the sink or bathroom. They appeared to only be wiped down. The breakfast was terrible. They did have waffles, and fruit (sitting in the sink, they didn't even put it in a bowl), some yogurt and cereal. Not a very complete breakfast as described. I will not be back, ever.

Not pet friendly. Add is wrong, not pet friendly. We were lucky ours is so small. Not pet friendly. Bed was rock hard.

The cleanliness at this hotel was okay, but I would definitely not say it was spotless. The beds were comfy... If you like to sleep on a Board with a sheet. There is a tram station almost in the same parking lot which makes it a little bit of a scary night. When we pulled in late at night there was about three people arguing in the parking lot and there was quite a few drunk people stumbling around in the parking lot... Which reminded me of zombies. The staff was nice. The breakfast could probably use some work... But for the price all in all it was okay.

This is a fairly cheap hotel - nothing fancy. You're getting what you pay for, a room, no frills. It is convenient to the light rail system and the freeway entrance though.

Good Value. Great Location - Right next to the Train Station - easy access into town. Nice Staff.

Good 24 hour mexican restraunt in front of hotel, and gas stations with good snacks and ice cream.

The room smelled like urine - don't know if it was the old carpets or what, but the smell was awful. We had seen the rating of fair on the website, but it should be poor like the one in Salt Lake City downtown.
