EVERYTHING WAS STICKY

All the drawers had a sticky syrup resdiue on the handles and tops of it, you couldn't even open anything because youre just touching sticky. Its definitely worth the extra 50 or so dollars for a different hotel right next door. Also the buffet is not worth at all, Cracker Barrel right next door is the lifesaver.

We checked in fairly late because we were coming from a concert. The front desk employee was hanging out with a group of people when we arrived. She was friendly and got us checked in but did say out room number quite loudly when she was giving us instructions. If no one had been in the lobby, that wouldn't have been such a big deal but there were. Usually, the room number isn't even said out loud. Additionally, the property was not in the best shape. The elevator was very dirty and the tile was all cracked and broken. Our room had a ceiling fan and you could see a clear ring of dust on the ceiling where the blades have been blowing dust for quite some time. Because it was so late we got ready for bed immediately. Unfortunately, the windows are not sealed well because you can hear anything and everything outside - from cars driving on the nearby streets to full conversations. We actually ended up checking out less than an hour later. We did choose a budget friendly so we definitely did not expect perfection. Just a few things that made the experience a little disappointing.

Concert stay

We came to town for a concert. We took in some sites to include the state capital. I chose this location because of the closeness to the Maverik Center so we didn't have to drive after the concert in an unfamiliar town. The hostess was very kind and helped with a slight issue at check in. It is always a plus to stay at a location with a hot tub.

Stayed for 3 nights and wish I chose somewhere else. It's outdated and dirty. The pool room was so hot we were sweating and the pool and hot tub look like they dont keep up with it. The room had a weird old smell to it. There was random peolple walking around the outside at all hours and the cops kept coming to the parking lot. Do not recommend

Booked this because it was walking distance to the Maverick Center. Interior of the property was a bit run down. Beds were comfortable though. The pillows were horrible. They were small and pretty much non existent. Overall not a bad stay though.
